2015 Hyundai Sonata ECO Review

If you are in the market for a new car; you owe it to yourself to go drive the 2015 Hyundai Sonata ECO. WOW! This car has perks!! First, this car drives like a luxury car. Such a smooth and comfortable ride in the totally revamped the Sonata. From the beautiful exterior to the very spacious interior, this car is amazing.

The Sonata has a 185-hp 2.4L GDI 4-cylinder engine or 245-hp 2.0L twin-scroll turbo 4-cylinder engine or 178-hp 1.6LGDI 4-cylinder engine. A 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC®. Drive Mode Select; choose from eco, sport, or normal for your driving pleasure. Sport is my favorite.
Gas mileage is rated 24 in town, personally I got 28 MPG!! In California! Where there aren’t any open roads, my life is stop light to stop light.
Inside at the driver’s seat is very comfortable. All of the controls are easily in reach of the driver; from the gas release to the trunk release.
It’s a little thing, but I really like the music that plays when you first get into the car and when you turn off the car.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the key-less entry. I love the fact that when you approach the car the door handle illuminates. I love that feature at night!! (so, girly right now… but no more broken fingernails because I miss judge the door handle). The door handle itself has a button directly on the handle that locks and unlocks the car. So thrilled with the fact that you can’t lock your keys in the car! I know this for certain because I tried! Not on purpose mind you, but as I pushed the button on the handle of the car I realized that my key was still in my purse on the passenger seat! Ackkkkkkkkk!!! The car beeped and did NOT engage the locks! Thank you for that Hyundai!!

The Sonata also has Blue Link System. I wish I had played with this more. You can connect your smart phone to the Blue Link; then unlock your car, remotely start it, turn on the heater or air conditioner and get diagnostic reports!! Ahhhhh but the BEST part of the Blue Link System!?!?! Have teens in your life that will be driving this car??? Set up a geo-fence, curfew times, and speed alerts that notify you if your teen goes outside the parameters that YOU set up. You can also access emergency roadside assistance, make a service appointment, and the system will notify emergency services if there is an accident. Blue Link System is AMAZING!!!!!!!

MORE TO LOVE

Push button start.
The navigation touchscreen display is huge! AND very user-friendly
The backseat also has tons of room! Plenty of headroom front AND back.
The trunk is HUGE!! 16.3 cubic feet of space! WOW!! I spread things out in the truck for the photo and STILL had space!!

WHINES

Nope, well yes because I had to give it back…. but the car itself I have no whines. The ride is comfortable. Plenty of space for all of my stuff! Excellent headroom. Great safety features!! Seven airbags: Includes driver’s knee, driver and front passenger, front seat side-mounted and front and rear curtain airbags! Fuel efficient! 28 mpg city, 38 highway, per the EPA. As if all of that wasn’t enough? Check out the warranty!!

Warranty

Driving this car was truly a comfortable experience. Excellent precision steering. Handling was amazing. Seriously, just go drive ONE!!! Now! I’ll wait here.

Disclosure I received a complimentary week driving the Hyundai Sonata ECO for the purpose of my review. (No, they didn’t let me keep it…. they NEVER let me keep these cars?? WHY??? I would drive it everyday. I would talk nice too it too) No other compensation was provided. The opinions are mine and 100% honest. I have not been influenced in any way.

Madly jealous of you once again. My Hyundai Getz is 8 years old now & unlike you drives mostly on pot-holed country roads. Still it is extremely economical to run. It’s my first Hyundai (bought almost new) & Mum was so impressed that she traded in her car for one as well!

I WANT THIS CAR! I have a Hyundai and like it but it’s 13 years old. So many improvements over the last 13 years.

I do like the look of this car. And, the idea of an illuminated door handle at night is genius! I bet a woman came up with that!

This sounds like a very nice car. I would first check to see if if a manufacturer has factories where the cars are made in America before buying another car.
