What’s In The Craft Room NOW??
I really do have a great excuse for being slow with blog posts. It’s THIS craft room! My craft room calls to me! I head down here around 9am and stay till 3!! Maybe if I moved my desk closer to the stairs and not on the other side of the craft table I wouldn’t get distracted with the shiny, shiny, sooooo shiny projects!! Here is what I’m working on now. Last week I actually had company to craft with me!! My friend Marilee and her daughter and grandgirls were here designing t-shirts!! The vinyls were sooooooo cool!!! Everyone’s was so different and so pretty! My vinyls of course were for Alice. (Duh!) Then the knitting. SO ADDICTED!! Get this, now granted I do use a very chunky yarn for my blankets and only one stitch. But I’m still taking credit for being creative!) I’ve completed 2 blankets. His and hers for The Husband and I. 4 cowls. 3 for me and 1 for The Husband. 2 long scarfs for me. They are so long they twist around my neck TWICE!! So warm!! I am a selfish knitter! HOWEVER!! I have started 2 new blankets for other people for gifts.…

Little Crafty Me!
I’ve been busy in my craft-room again, yup, little crafty me. I’m so happy. My Cricut Maker has been working overtime!! I made a ton of t-shirts for friends and family. I’m really excited about my sisters t-shirt. It came out super cool! My sister Lea is a huge Sugar Skull fan. This t-shirt does look better in real life, some of the glitter vinyl doesn’t show up well, however, that is how I learn right??? Still overall, I think she will be happy with it. Next up, with all the construction going on around the house we have a ton of scrap wood and I’ve wanted to try stenciling on wood and what better way than to use the scrap pieces?? SERIOUSLY, this came out awesome!! Now that I know what it looks like I’ll be trying different designs on slices of the stumps from the trees we had to cut down. Wouldn’t that look awesome? Round with bark still attached? Maybe 2″ thick??? Then of course I did some of my favorite items to add vinyl to are tumblers. I had to give up the last one I created for myself, (needy friends and family!! Ahhhh it comes…

Cricut Helps Wrap Up Summer Fun!!
Six-year-old Alice and her BFF Ashley have one final week of summer fun before school starts and Ashley heads back up north to school. So, what better way to end the summer than a trip to LEGOLAND California in MATCHING T-shirts?!!Not just matching T-shirts, but ones that Ashley actually drew herself. Taking the picture that Ashley drew for Alice and scanning it into the computer I created the iron on’s for their matching T-shirts. How adorable is this design?!?! Alice had it tacked up on her wall for the longest time before it hit me, I could actually make the girls t-shirts from this drawing! So, y’all know that I feel the need to share my creative side when I am especially pleased with myself and this is one of those times!! After scanning the picture you upload to Cricut Design Space there are 3 options once you upload your picture to help you clean up the picture. Remove area’s that you don’t want to show Once I was pleased with the image clean up I moved it to my virtual mat. I sized the design how I wanted it. Load your mat with the color vinyl you want. Position…
