November just FLEW by! Or was it just me? I was so busy in November. GESH! I have a couple of posts coming up in the next few days that will explain JUST how busy! I’m a tired girl. Nothing real in the way of news from The Mountain. We had one day of snow that melted the very next day. We’ve been lucky. I have a feeling Mother Nature is saving up all her energy for a snow-mageddon. We are stocked up with food and plenty of wood, the propane tank is full. The Bull (Good ole John Deere) is ready and roaring to go. We are as ready as we can be. If you don’t follow me on Instagram, you may have missed my PUMPKIN. After Halloween, I put the BIG pumpkin out for the deer. I drilled holes in the shape of a smile. WHO knew the buck was such a Mickey Mouse fan?!? Y’all should sit down for this one! Especially Pam from NOVICA! I did NOT order a CONNIE Ring, as Pam referrers to them. A BIG, BOLD, silver, knuckle to knuckle ring. But NOT this time!! Trail Cam Friday 7/17 SHE’s BAAAAACKKKK!!!!
Trail cam shows that my friend the bear is back!! (Yes, I know…. the bears are not my friends….. I know I would be a tasty treat. I know that is how I will die…….. but it looked so sweet and fluffy will be my last words.) I have absolutely no idea what the bright spot is, maybe it’s a SIGN that says “Pet me here!” in really tiny letters. MAYBE it’s a PET collar!!! The only other interesting pictures are the squirrel, rabbit and chipmunk all together. A few deer for good measure. This picture intrigues me. Is it a bat?? If it is why isn’t it using it’s bat house?!? From the second trail cam we only got a couple of fairly good shots. And that is all for this week. Carry on Little Peanuts!

Trail Cam Friday April 17
Seriously, these animals are NOT cooperating with the whole Trail Cam Friday premise! WHAT THE HECK!?!? Do they not understand that I need some real pictures??? I may cut back on their corn if they aren’t more cooperative. The night shot is only because of the littttttle tiny white something in the bottom right. There also was an operator error in one camera. ONE camera you move the switch to the right to turn it on. The other, you guessed it … to the left. So one trail cam wasn’t on at ALL. I can not win! BTW the whole to the left to the right thing….. I have to share a quick story. I downloaded the TikTok app. There are some hysterical videos on there. I had to stop watching them at night because I’m awake until 1 or 2 in the morning trying not to laugh so loud I wake The Husband (not very successfully either!) I also think I am WAY better than I am. I thought this looks fun….. Let me tell you straight up……. I can not. Not even close. Not even a little bit. Not even in my imagination (anymore anyway!)
