Escape Room The Game
I have another game to share with you from Spin Master Games. One that I am here to say I am not smart enough to play. HOLY MOLY Escape Room The Game is HARD!! Not a little hard. BUT REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hard. That’s my whine. Could it be that we had just a little too much Thanksgiving food? Could it be that we had too much Thanksgiving ‘cheer’? OR should I just come out and say my family is just not smart enough for this game? I’m going to go with … never mind. This is a game for people that are really good at problem solving. (unlike myself who is great at problem making!) This game would be perfect for folks that love a challenging game like RISK or Chess. Take the viral social experience of Escape Rooms to the comfort of your own home and for a fraction of the cost that you would pay! Included in this…

HEDBANZ The Quick Question Game! For KIDS!!!
I love giving FAMILY games at Christmas. A good game is a great bonding time for kids and parents. Something that is FUN and imaginative is even better! Let me tell you what! HEDBANZ is just that! FUN!! And challenging but not so hard that kids give up easily and don’t want to play anymore. How Old To Play HEDBANZ? The game is rated 7 and up; however 6-year-old is a whiz kid with this game. It is so fun to watch the way her mind works. It’s also very funny to watch her want to ‘stretch her legs’ when she can’t guess the card… ummmm hummm little cheater was checking her reflection in the fish tank. She’s so smart she doesn’t even guess the correct picture with the first guess. SNEAKY!!! Gotta watch this one closely; it’s also why we added the new rule you can’t get up until your turn is over or you automatically lose! What Is…

BRYNK Only The BEST Game EVER!!
OH my gosh! I can’t wait to tell you about this game!! This family game from Winning Moves is called BRYNK is so much fun! Think JENGA but on steroids; or more accurately on a wobbly, MOVING base. This game is meant for kids 7 and up. Talk about a game that teaches patience and problem-solving! BRYNK comes in a plastic canister which is your game base. Inside the unit is the 1 tri-slider piece, 3 corners each with silver balls; this makes the slider move very smoothly and easily. Also in the game base are 42 translucent plastic playing pieces in beautiful bright orange, blue and yellow. Kids are convinced that the yellow pieces weigh less; being the good NaNa that I am; I weighed them. So, no matter what the kids think each color weighs the same 0.02 ounces. To play BRYNK is so simple and yet sooooo hard!! Turn your canister/game base with the opening on the…

Guess Who! Game Review And GIVEAWAY!
A few weekends a month Emma, Eli and I have pajama Sundays. We play games and stay in our jammies all day. They are the best Sundays ever! This Sunday we played Guess Who. A classic family game from 1979 Guess Who! Emma is 6 and Eli is 5 and both have a GREAT time with this game!! I don’t dare arrive Sunday mornings without this game in particular! It’s one of those fun games that gets kids to think and notice differences in people. The process of elimination and guessing the person on their opponent’s game-board by asking questions not only helps with problem solving but helps to refine their observation skills. The E’s love this game!! I get to play the winner. Sometimes. Each player gets a rack of face cards that depict men and women–some with hair–long and short–and some without hair. Some people have glasses and some without, some with hats some with out and so on.…

HOWEVER!! Emma, Eli and Alice (6, 4 and 3) had a blast just mimicking what everyone else did; which truly made this game EVEN FUNNIER!! I would say this game will work for your family when your kids can read the cards for themselves. I would LOVE to see 100 Wacky Things in a younger children version. 100 Wacky Things is a card game; a silly FUNNY card game. The game has two types of cards: Always and Whenever. If you draw an Always Card, you will do the wacky thing on your card every time it’s your…
