ImaginativeU Ready-to-Use Activity Kits For Kids Age 4-10 #Review
I am so disappointed that this business no longer exists. It makes me so sad. This was such a fun kit. However, Etsy to the rescue. There are plenty to choose from. I went a little overboard with pictures again, but Alice and I had so much fun with our ImaginativeU Ready To Use Activity Kit!! Watching 3-year-old Alice during the week includes a lot of play time, crafts and of course I have to throw in some learning time too. I absolutely LOVE to watch Alice’s face light up when I tell her it’s craft time!! It’s a huge bonus when I combine learning time with craft time! Usually, it takes me a long time to get crafts set up. Scouring Pinterest, print instructions, head to Michaels and so on. It gets overwhelming at times. You have no idea how excited I was to be given the opportunity to review Imaginative University! Imaginative University sends EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING you need to do tons of activities with your kids!!! This monthly subscription service is amazing!!! A FULL box of crafts; all of the instructions and even a book!! This month’s box actually had TWO books!! All of…

Kids Craft Ideas
Crafts are a great way for parents and kids to spend time together. The act of creating something is often more memorable than simply watching a movie or playing a game, and crafting fosters creativity and a sense of pride in young children. What’s more, there are many fun crafts that can be made using common household items so they are very inexpensive to produce. The next time your kids complain about being bored, try one of these fun craft ideas. Tie Dye Purchase clothing dye from your local craft store. Dilute several different colors of dye in hot water and pour them into squeeze bottles. Soak one or two plain t-shirts for kids in a combination of warm water and and soda ash, then wring out the excess moisture. Twist the damp shirts into a spiral pattern and secure them with twine or rubber bands. Squeeze different colors of dye onto the fabric. As soon as you are done, wash the shirt under cool water to rinse off most of the excess dye. When the water runs relatively clear, wash the tie dye shirts once more in the washing machine to remove excess dye. Need some inspiration? For more ideas,…

We made Elephant Toothpaste!! Science experiment!!
Alice and I had so much fun making Elephant Toothpaste!! SO COOL!!!!!!! Here is what I used: First off….. drink some soda! I forgot this step! You need that 2 liter bottle. Empty and dry. 6% Hydrogen Peroxide. You have to get this at a beauty supply store. I found ours at Sally’s. Dry Active Yeast. I bought a jar so that we can do this a LOT!!Dawn Dish Soap FunnelLiquid food color or liquid water color optional (but soooo pretty!!)Glitter optional (but ohhh soooo cool!!) 1 teaspoon of yeast (if you have packets it’s half of the packet)2 Tablespoons of HOT waterMix until all the yeast is dissolved. It takes a while so be patient and stir stir stir. If your little one is able this would be a good job for them while you get the rest of the items together. Place funnel into your narrow necked bottle and add:1/2 cup 6% hydrogen peroxideColoringGlitter2 squirts of Dawn dish soap I just squirted quickly. I have no real measure. Swirl gently until everything is mixed. Place your bottle in a container to catch the mountain of foam. I bought an aluminum tray at the dollar store. Now add the yeast…
