November just FLEW by! Or was it just me? I was so busy in November. GESH! I have a couple of posts coming up in the next few days that will explain JUST how busy! I’m a tired girl. Nothing real in the way of news from The Mountain. We had one day of snow that melted the very next day. We’ve been lucky. I have a feeling Mother Nature is saving up all her energy for a snow-mageddon. We are stocked up with food and plenty of wood, the propane tank is full. The Bull (Good ole John Deere) is ready and roaring to go. We are as ready as we can be. If you don’t follow me on Instagram, you may have missed my PUMPKIN. After Halloween, I put the BIG pumpkin out for the deer. I drilled holes in the shape of a smile. WHO knew the buck was such a Mickey Mouse fan?!? The next morning I went out to feed my deer, check on the pumpkin. IT WAS GONE!!! Who knew deer gangs were so sneaky?!?! I looked everywhere the pumpkin is GONE!! Happy March Giveaway Little Peanuts!! If you are new here WELCOME!! You will find that this is an amazing group of people. The Peanuts (that’s you now!) are supportive and caring! I’m your Head Peanut Connie. This is a monthly giveaway. I always start with a brief blurb about my past month. Sometimes I have a TON to say. Sometimes I’m pretty boring. I live on top of a mountain in Sandpoint Idaho. I have a craft room that I never in my wildest imagination thought I would own. I swear it’s bigger than my 1st apartment! The 2 sets of double doors look out at Lake Ponderay and it’s a STUNNING view!! Not only am I blessed with this room and this view. I have deer that lick the door when it’s time for their corn ration of the day!! Wild turkeys, bears, and moose too. But they don’t lick the door. It’s MARCH’s Giveaway!? I know, month after month and year after year I say the same thing! But, seriously WHERE IS TIME GOING!?!? During the month of February we finished both beams. The main floor and my craftroom look amazing! I started sorting our family boxes. Photos and art projects sorted and the scanning has begun! I splurged and bought myself a photo scanner. HOLY GUACAMOLE BATMAN this was one of the best investments I have ever made! Seriously, watch this thing! On to a question………… what do y’all think THIS is?? We caught it peeking in the front door too (on video but, no better pictures than this). But, no idea what it is!! Badger? Racoon? House cat? Bob Cat?? What is your guess? Hello October! $50 Your WAY Giveaway
Time for my October giveaway. September sure left like a LION! Snow! High winds. What kind of high winds? The kind of wind that tore the door off the BRAND NEW John Deere Tractor!!!!!! BLEW the door RIGHT OFF!! Other than that September was a pretty calm month. Made a new friend at the Goodwill store of all places. We are like two peas in a pod. Similar life paths including a move to Sandpoint! The house is still a work in progress. Deck… still not done. Now that we have snow, I’m doubtful that my front porch or deck will be done before spring. Staying hopeful. pfffffttttttt who are we kidding? I’m not hopeful at all. Ohhh can you see the devil on one shoulder and the angel on my other?! They are havin’ a heck of an argument. With all the rain we were having in the middle of September we decided to tackle the kitchen and add the barn wood back splash. OHMMMMMMMGGEEEEEEE!! It warmed up the kitchen like crazy!!
