5 Beauty Secrets for Busy Moms

Moms have their hands full, and it’s always hard trying to find the time to ensure you look and feel your best. However, just because you don’t have the schedule that allows for full-day spa treatments or hours-long hair appointments doesn’t mean that you can’t give yourself a striking look. After all, you’re super mom. You can do just about anything. If you want to stay looking sharp, then take a look at these 5 beauty secrets for busy moms.

  1. Jamberry Nails

As a mom, you know that spending money to get your nails done is almost pointless. After all, you spend a great deal of time putting your hands in places you wouldn’t really want them to be, so why waste that money? Well, now you don’t have to. Jamberry Nails is a cost-effective way for you to get the look you want from a spa without the high cost or the length of time. Instead, these nail wraps allow you to choose the design you love and get the look you want, and it’s cheap and simple to do.

  1. Vein Treatment

Spider and varicose veins can be unattractive, and no matter how many creams you try to rub on yourself, it seems as if you can’t get them to go away. Instead, why not have them professionally treated? NY Metropolitan Vein and Aesthetic Center offers vein treatment that is not only cost-effective, but can also be done as an outpatient treatment with little recovery time. So if you want the look of great legs without any hassle, consider finding a professional to handle the job for you.

  1. Hair Dyes

Your traditional hair dyes have come a long way over the years, and now you can get a great color in your own home. Most of these dyes will last you a long time and they can even color gray. Try traditional options like Clairol Nice and Easy. The step-by-step guide makes it easy for you to get all-over color with ease. And if you’re looking for some high or low-lights, there are plenty of at-home treatments that allow you to do that easily too. Plus, most hair dye companies offer online services that will allow you to upload a picture of yourself and try different colors, so you can see what looks good before making a purchase.

  1. Dual Moisturizers

Every woman knows that moisturizers can make a difference on your skin, so it’s important that you use these, especially on your face. The problem, though, is that we feel obligated to use all these products, so we don’t have time to get a completed look. That can change if you use dual moisturizers. For instance, instead of using a concealer and a moisturizer, find a moisturizing concealer. These provide your face with the moisture they need as well as the color you crave. Now, you can condense your beauty regimen from 2-3 steps down to one.

  1.  Pony Tails

Mom and pony tails go hand in hand, but sometimes wearing the same pony tail can be less exciting than you hoped. This is why it’s a good idea to find some easy updos that won’t take long. This way, you can do chores, run errands, and get your kids around town while donning a great look. So if your significant other decides to come home and take you out for a night on the town, you will be ready to go with just the change of an outfit.

Being a mom is a very important job, and everyone knows that you put your kids’ needs ahead of your own. However, that doesn’t mean that your style and look has to suffer in order to do so. Instead, use these five simple beauty tips so that you can have the look you want without having to find the time or money to get it done by a professional. Now, when people see you working hard, they’ll wonder how you have the time to get it all done AND look good while doing so.

I cut my hair off about 25 years ago – just got to the stage where I couldn’t be bothered to spend all that time on washing, conditioning, styling, colouring etc. It used to be down to my waist!

Pony tails! Always trying to get new ones and it can be a good way to present ourselves when we don’t have much time in front of the mirror!

THANK YOU for the Vein Treatment suggestion. I have problems with my feet sometimes, they hurt and you can see my veins which makes me self-conscious. I will look into this. 🙂

I’ve just discovered those ‘colour me’ apps where you can re-design yourself and they’re great fun (especially if you’ve had a couple of glasses of wine!).

Well, I’m not a Mom, but these still sound good to me. Before I cut my hair off, I was a pony tail wearer everyday, lol.
