My locket is extremely easy to open to change out the charms if I want. The entire frame of the charm is held closed with tiny, powerful magnets. This locket is NOT going to accidentally pop open. It also isn’t going to break your nail when you try and open it. There is a small groove on the side that you simply guide your fingernail in and the necklace opens. I would suggest doing this over a table or counter and NOT the sink or you could lose a charm (I CAUGHT it before it went down the drain. So learn from me!)
