2016 Kia Sedona SXL Testdrive
I pulled into the driveway after the first trip in this 2016 Kia Sedona SXL and told The Husband. I want THIS car!! This is not only an extremely comfortable car to drive but it has PERKS!! This is not your MaMa’s minivan!! This is four wheels of comfort and luxury! From the unique grill to the auto-lift gate. This minivan is SWEET!! Looks GREAT! Total Comfort The Sedona has everything you need for complete comfort while you are driving. From Nappa Leather seating. Leather seating that has duo memory! No more having to adjust the seat when The Husband drives. Heated AND cooled seating! On a hot day those air-cooled seats are heavenly! Drivers Area The driver’s area is awesome! Large central screen for navigation, entertainment selections and audio features. I love, love, love the navigation. It even shows red when traffic is at a standstill ahead! Huge read out for the speed. Even a read out for the wiper speed! Headroom is awesome throughout the Sedona!! Climate Control No dual climate comfort but TRI ZONE comfort climate control!! Camping At Doheny State Beach!
Well, as much as I was looking forward to Yosemite for a week, Mother Nature had something else in mind. Rain, mud, cold weather AND a 3-year-old?! I don’t THINK so!! We tent camp. So imagine all that mud in the tent after say ohhhh the first 5 minutes? Yeah, NOT happin’!! So, instead we loaded up the 2016 Kia Sorento and drove up the coast to Doheny State Beach for our week of tent camping. The Kia Sorento SXL V6 AWD was the PERFECT vehicle for camping!! Not only does this puppy let me load it up with TONS of gear but, once it was unloaded it was our commuting vehicle for running around site seeing!! THREE rows of seating!! Comfortable seating all three rows!! I personally rode in all three rows to test them out. MORE to love is the fact that even when all three rows are being used there is still room in the very back to carry day-packs and supplies for hiking!
