Crosspulse Percussion Ensemble – I Love Everything About YOU, Yes I DO CD Review

What a perfect name for a family album!!  “I like Everything About You, Yes I DO!!”  What a fun, fun, FUN album!! I was hooked from the first track “Walkin’ the Dog”. LOVE this song!

Crosspulse Percussion Ensemble is full of artistic funky, fresh percussion music. This CD will have you dancing in your seat and tapping your foot. Trust me, it’s that good!! This CD is a toe tapping, catchy, rhythmic, happy adventure. You’ll find it hard to sit still!! 

Alice and I dance, clap and sing along with this great CD.  I love it in the car, it’s so upbeat and happy that Alice arrives at our destination with a smile on her face!!!  

Crosspulse is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to the creation, performance and recording of rhythm-based, intercultural music and dance.


Using the roots of the African Diaspora as a jumping off place, the five members of Crosspulse bend and blend their own cultural DNA to create new music rooted in egalitarian collaboration and dialogue.  Where else would you hear clawhammer banjo on an Afro-Cuban song or cajón on traditional Appalachian songs?
