Elf on The Shelf Breakfast
We had such a great day!! The Elf On The Shelf, Norgan, hid notes to the grandkids in the Advent Calendar to “QUICK! go to NaNa’s!!” Everyone arrived in pj’s. NaNa opened the door sleepy eye’d asking “WHY are you HERE?!?!” Their little faces were soooo excited!! “We got a NOTE from Norgan, NaNa, to come over!!”
Their faces lit up when they saw the tree and totally decked out house. Somehow a note that breakfast was in the oven was stuck on NaNa’s pajamas!!
Their faces and the excitement of the morning was so worth staying up late and getting up early!! How do you celebrate your elf returning??
One thing we instill in the kids (AND the remembered!!!) is if you touch him, he looses his magic and won’t be able to hide in a different place every day. That worked for my kids growing up, it’s working for the G’kids too.
Now, I wish Norgan had the energy to clean up the mess!!

- Font Sabotage: Reverting my modern, clean text back to “Geocities-era” antique fonts.
The 2026 Refresh Plan: I’m giving my archives a facelift to keep my blog traffic climbing and my readers happy. Here’s my step-by-step exorcism:
- Exorcise 404s: Running a broken link checker to find and fix every dead end.
- Modernize the Recommendations: Swapping outdated 2019 products for my 2026 essentials.
- SEO Deep Clean: Updating metadata to ensure my focus keywords are in the headers and the introduction for maximum impact.
