Hell’s Legionnaire by L. Ron Hubbard

Hell's Legionnaire

This week I listened to Hell’s Legionnaire by L. Ron Hubbard.
Some of you might not be aware that L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology also wrote pulp fiction in the 1930’s and 1940’s.
Pulp fiction refers to the cheap paper used when printing the pulpwood paperbacks.

I found THE perfect YouTube video. This video really explains how the stories are brought to life.

The Golden Age Stories are so exciting to hear!!  No wonder families gathered at the radio at night! These stories are detailed with sounds, music and multi-performances. The Golden Age Stories are amazing.

You can tell that L. Ron Hubbard put his heart and soul into these stories. Hell’s Legionnaire is exciting from the beginning.

Sentenced to a French penal colony for killing an officer (in self-defense), American Dusty Colton flees the French Foreign Legion he so willingly joined and rushes headlong into a Berber tribal lair. To his horror, he discovers a captive American woman who’s in the process of being whipped and tortured by the bandit leader.
Despite the low odds of him winning out against the entire Berber tribe alone, Dusty can’t leave the woman behind. Even if he figures out an escape from the camp, he still has to manage a way to get them both out of the country alive with both the Foreign Legion and the Berbers at their heels.

Disclosure I received complimentary products for the purpose of my review. No other compensation was provided. The opinions are mine and 100% honest. I have not been influenced in any way.
