Holidays In Mexico!
This is my first ‘where I want to go’ post for 2016. Today I picked Mexico. I’ve been to Cancun several times; we even spent our honeymoon in Cancun. Cancun is a spot that I can highly recommend. A snorkel trip that you will never forget is Isla Mujeres which is only a short hop from Cancun. The beaches are amazing! El Garrafon has incredible snorkeling opportunities. Another trip I highly recommend while in Cancun Chichen Itza and Coba with its Mayan architecture that spans thousands of years. The most dramatic and easily recognizable are the fantastic stepped pyramids. Chichen Itza has been named as one of the seven wonders of the world, and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site for 20 years. When we were in Cancun I was able to go parasailing OH MY GOSH!! If you can do this I highly recommend it!! Of course be sure to tell your spouse no photo’s as you are going up. You’ll have a nice photo of your rear end! (Can you say delete?! ) Next vacation? I plan to Zipline, that looks so FUN!!
As much as I love visiting Cancun I would love to plan a trip for my next Mexico vacation or Mexico Holiday depending on where your are from holiday or vacation. (don’t you love how things are different in other contries or even states in the US have different variations? Coke and Soda are the same, handbag and purse. Vacation and Holiday! Sorry, I got a little sidetracked!) I was thinking on to Playa del Carmen. Oh man! The photographs make me drool! White sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise water. I can see myself toes in the sand. Of course I don’t want to spend every single waking moment at the beach, (Only I kinda do!) I have started a list of MUST see spots. I have heard amazing things about the mystifying Mayan city of Tulum. I’ve heard it isn’t jam packed with people, which I like. I want a leisurely pace to my vacation.
The pictures are so amazing. Can’t you just picture the peaceful sounds? Doesn’t this make you want to start packing? If that picture doesn’t do it, check out this next one!
Wouldn’t it be amazing to go snorkeling in an underground cenote?? Aktun Chen Park is the perfect spot for swimming and snorkeling, but even more you can take a tour that goes deeper into the caves of the Mayan land.
Another must see would be the Tulum Quintana Roo which is a famous archaeological site, it’s actually one of the most famous in the world! So you can count me IN!!
I would recommend getting a tour guide for these trips. Tour guides can really enhance your trip. The guides we have had in the past are so knowledgeable and helpful. Be sure to pick their brains for off the beaten path places to eat. They always know the best places to go!
What about you? Where do you want to travel to? Have you been to Mexico? If you have where has been your favorite spot? I hope you will help me create my MUST see travel list!

I’m not sure I could do the snorkeling but those white sand beaches would be so perfect! And even if you can’t go right now, it doesn’t hurt to look at pictures and dream a little.

I’ve never really been to Mexico. One day trip to Juárez is all. I most want to go to New Zealand.

I’d love to see the snorkeling caves! (Even if I am a little claustrophobic, lol.) I love visiting sites like the stepped pyramids when I’m on vacation, but I bet the beach or the pools would be my main hangout point!

Such beautiful places! Sometimes you hear so much bad about Mexico, but there’s no denying, it has its beauty too.

Just look at the colour of the water – oh, man, I could do with some of that heat in my bones right now!
