I Took The Stirrings Holiday Blogger Mixology Challenge!!!
Tis the season! Parties, get-togethers and girls-nights-out! I can’t think of a better way to kick off the night than with Stirrings All Natural Cocktail Mixers!
Now, I have to start with I am not a bartender and I don’t even pretend to be! The most creative I get is buying a bottle of wine with a fancy label! But, I have to admit Stirrings makes it easy to experiment!
So many mixers! Even ones that are only 5 CALORIES!!
I came across the Stirrings Holiday Blogger Mixology Challenge and well, my competitive side came out! I can create something right?? And I DID!! Although very simple I’m still very pleased with the taste.
I decided to name my mix Nonnie’s Apple Pie Ala Mode! I have to admit these are GOOD!! SO GOOD!! So very, VERY GOOD!!! (did you get the idea these were good?)
2 shots of Simple Apple Martini
1 shot of marshmallow vodka
3 shots of sparkling mineral water
Crushed ice
Cosmopolitan Rimmer
In a shallow dish I poured about a half a shot of marshmallow vodka to get the lip of the glass wet and then dipped it in the Cosmopolitan Rimmer. First when the Cosmopolitan gets wet it turns pink! It’s a sweet and sour rimmer. It’s delicious!!
Add ice, shots and serve. The pink rim and green drink is so pretty to look at! The taste is delicious!! This is what I call a dangerous drink because it so good and doesn’t taste like alcohol. This one goes down EASY!!!
Add a maraschino cherry and a thick slice of an orange or lemon for an extra pretty garnish.
The second drink I made was with Simple Lemon Drop cocktail mixer and the Lemon Drop Rimmer.
2 shots of cherry flavored vodka
3 shots of sparkling mineral water
Crushed ice
Once again, in a shallow dish I poured about a half a shot of cherry flavored vodka to get the lip of the glass wet and then dipped it in the Lemon Drop Rimmer. The sweet and tart is sooo good. Once again, this pretty drink is very dangerous because you don’t taste the alcohol. I need more mixers!! AND from now until November 27th, 2016 you get free shipping!! Add FRIDAY at checkout. Then call me. I’ll be right over! I’ll bring snacks!
I would love to know which Stirrings All Natural Cocktail Mixers you would use and what drink you would make? Or create?
Stirrings is also available at Bevmo, Total Wines & More, Draegers, Mollie Stones, Hi Time Liquors, Pacific Ranch Market, Daniels Market, Bristol Farms.

I can’t drink, but when I used to, if a drink went down smoothly and was tasty, watch out! I could be a guzzler!
I have never heard of marshmallow vodka before! Sounds fluffy!!
I like that the Stirrings are all natural and low in calories!
My mind is already stirring with ideas for the Simple Watermelon Martini & the Simple Peach Bellini Stirrings! Yum!

Let me know next time you make Lemon Drops….I’ll be right over! 🙂

OMGosh, good quality mixers make such a difference. I’m exceedingly fond of Tonic Water (no one knows why)

I could have a lot of fun with these! I am not a bartender, but I love making mixed drinks for my friends. This would be so much fun for a party, plus I love the few calories!
Jennifer
I can only imagine how many different good tasting drinks you could make with this!

Marshmallow vodka? I never heard of it either. Even though I don’t drink I would be very curious to taste it. 🙂

I like that what you dipped the glass into turned pink.

Hmmm… even though I am not familiar with drinks I think the Apple drink sounds really good and something I would want to try! 🙂

It would be fun to put a bunch of these out at a girl’s night & let everyone put their own combination together.

Hmm, I might mix the Watermelon Martini with the Peach Bellini & see if takes me back to a nice warm Summer day!

These would be brilliant for a girlie night. I like the sound of the ‘Dirty Martini’!

Looks like a lot of fun! I don’t drink but my friends do but they are aways concerned about the extra calories. A drink that’s only 5 calories would make them ecstatic! 🙂
