L. Ron Hubbard’s Trouble on His Wings!

My regular followers know I am so enthralled with L. Ron Hubbard’s pulp fiction books!  I have been listening to his books on CD because these books are full on movies for your minds eye!  Seriously!! These books are read by multiple cast members with full sound effects!
If it’s raining you hear rain.  If someone jumps in the ocean…… like the thrill seeker, hot headed hero in the story Trouble on His Wings Johnny Brice.  This guy jumps into a stormy sea, not once but TWICE just for a newsreel and that’s just in the first few minutes of the book. Ahhhh but the second time he jumps, Jinx (the captivating, secretive and a major bad luck dame) jumps in after him!! (Tell me these two aren’t destine to be together forever!!)  This story takes the listener around the world! From Idaho to Asia with Johnny, Jinx and Irish for a whirlwind adventure just trying to get that money shot. That perfect news worthy shot!! Can he do it with Jinx around??  (Ahhhh ya get no spoilers from me!!)

The performers are so exciting and so enticing that you truly can’t turn it off.  It’s like sitting around an old time radio. I have to admit my very favorite is R.F. Daley, he is the narrator of all the L. Ron Hubbard stories and I swear I could listen to him talk all day long!!  Like all the actors they truly make listening to these stories an AWESOME experience!!  This one “Trouble on His Wings” might be my new favorite.

How good is this one?? Check it out, Trouble on His Wings won “Publishers Weekly Award as One of 2012’s Very Best Audiobooks”  See??? I’m not the only one that is in love with these stories!!
