Mixbook Review
If you are a regular reader you know how much I love Mixbook!! I love that I can add stickers and sayings to my photobooks. I love the freedom that Mixbook gives you to truly design your pages the way YOU want them to look. So when I was given the opportunity to review Mixbook’s Holiday Note Cards I was GIDDY!!
So I immediately decided that I would dress up a willing model (I say willing because she is only 3.5 months old and I’m wayyy bigger than she is!! I CAN make her do what I want!!) So together we did Mixbook Halloween Cards.
I have say Mixbook has truly thought of everything! There are ‘stickers’ of spider webs, spiders, pumpkins, witches hats and even a mustache! You decide where they go on the page or the picture. YOU decide how big or how small the stickers should be. You can seriously go nuts on Mixbook! All of your projects are 100% customized by you. You even decide how many pictures to add and which way to position them. The other awesome thing that Mixbook does? Mixbook will send an email for you so you can invite a contributor to help you edit your projects! (this is REALLY good when you have toooooo many pictures you LOVE and can’t decide which ones to take out). I enlisted Selena to help… actually I was sooo excited about the cards I couldn’t keep a secret longer than… 12.4 seconds… so I used the excuse of needing her editing expertise.
So after 2 nights of back and forth adding pictures…. moving pictures….. changing text….. we finished our cards.
More things to like LOVE about Mixbook?
1. You get an email confirming your order right away that includes a 2 hour ‘change your mind’ window!
2. You get an email confirming that your order has been mailed.
3. Turn around time is FAST!!
Okay now for the cards themselves……… (First… please note the amazing photography skills that moi posses… course could just be the model too)
I selected the premium silk paper and I couldNOT be more pleased!! The paper is heavy with a matte type finish. (I prefer matte just because I hate fingerprints on pictures). The pictures are clear and crisp. The embellishments are perfect!! (And perfectly placed if I don’t mind saying so myself!) I love that the embellishments don’t over power the pictures. (I also love the genius that is ME I made the spiders look like they are 3D by adding a black spider behind… I’m brilliant!)
(Okay fine… maybe Mixbook already knew that you could do that… ahhh I’m still taking credit!) This card is 100% perfect in every single way!!
I can NOT wait to work on my family calendar. I LOVE MIXBOOK!!!!!!
Go check them out. You truly won’t be disappointed. Their web site Mixbook. Be sure and follow them on Facebook and while you are at it follow them on Twitter too.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
