One of the first concerts I went to when I was younger was a Neil Diamond concert. Then my husband and I attended a couple more through out the years. The man has a true stage presence not to mention that golden voice!! Sweet Caroline! Oh I love that song!! Forever in Blue Jeans, I’m certain he wrote for me. Sweet Cherry Wine!! NO one sings it better! So, needless to say, when I was given the opportunity to review Neil Diamond’s brand new album Melody Road, I was THRILLED!!!Neil Diamond has had 37 Top 40 singles. 16 Top 10 Albums just in the U.S. alone! I can’t imagine a Neil Diamond song coming on the radio that doesn’t make me sing along!!

Not only is Neil Diamond a Grammy Award-winning artist, but, also a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame AND the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Neil also has received one of the highest honors bestowed on a songwriter the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award!! The accolades for Neil Diamond are many! Golden Globes, Grammy nominations. In 2011 Diamond even received the prestigious Kennedy Center Honor for his lifetime of contributions to American culture.

With 125 MILLION albums sold worldwide, Neil Diamond has to be one the greatest singer songwriters EVER!! I truly love his voice! This new album; Melody Road, in stores October 21st, 2014 is another MUST have for us Neil Diamond fans!!

I was given the chance to hear Melody Road in it’s entirety. Neil’s soulful voice, beautiful music and memorable lyrics make this album a shoe-in for Album of the Year and definitely a Grammy nomination!!
