Red Cast Tibetan Singing BowlI have the prettiest most unique gift to share with you today! This is a Red Cast Tibetan Singing Bowl. It is stunning in person!! I wish I could do it justice in pictures!!

This beautiful bowl is 4″ wide and approximately 2″ high.
The bowl weighs 11.5 ounces.

The Tibetan cast singing bowl is a stunning red base color with a gold design around the bowl, on the bottom and inside the bowl. The singing bowl is smooth around the rim. The bowl comes with a striker tool which you use to make the bowl sing. Each time I use the stricker tool I make a clearer and more beautiful song. I am 100% a beginner with singing bowls and I have to say it’s really addicting!! It’s actually very relaxing to sit with the singing bowl. I have mine displayed on the coffee table, guests can not help but touch it and ask to try it.

Each bowl is hand selected for it’s tone, size and quality. Each bowl has a wonderful tone and is very easy to make ‘sing’.  The Tibetan Singing Bowl comes with the striker and a cushion.

Since Tibetan singing bowls have a very mysterious history it is sometimes hard to find information about them, in fact there is literally no mention of them in the Tibetan Buddhist canon. They can be found in both monasteries and homes, but when questioned about there existence vague answers are usually given. It has been rumored that it is actually forbidden for monks to speak about the singing bowls. Some say that the bowls are used by high lamas in secret rituals, which gives them the ability to travel to different realms and dimensions. In the end one thing remains certain, that singing bowls are a very powerful spiritual tool. In addition to their traditional usage for meditation, Tibetan Singing Bowls are used for Relaxation, Stress Reduction, Healing, and Reiki.
