Rock Your Inner Mama!! By Rachel Sklar & 50% off COUPON CODE!!!
Do you take time to meditate everyday? You really should, meditating is so good for you. If you have kids it’s life saving!! (Theirs!!)
I know meditating makes me a better person. A better parent a better NaNa. I wish I would have had “Rock Your Inner Mama” when my kids were little, I think I would have been much calmer and fun Mom. It’s never too late, now I am focused on being the BEST NaNa I can be to Emma, Eli and Alice.
Rachel Sklar’s voice is calm, relaxing and gentle. Rachel’s voice is HAPPY!! I promise I can HEAR the smile in her voice.
Rock Your Inner Mama isn’t just for Mama…….. NaNa loves this.
As my regular followers know I babysit Alice during the week. Alice is entering the terrible twos…… with BOTH feet!! I have added track 4 “At Your Wit’s End” to my iPod. Alice and I both listen. Alice likes the sound of Rachel’s voice too. She loves to see NaNa exhale like a crazy woman. By the end of track 4 we are both CALM!!
So, why learn to meditate?
The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful, we will be free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we will experience true happiness; but if our mind is not peaceful, we will find it very difficult to be happy, even if we are living in the very best conditions. If we train in meditation, our mind will gradually become more and more peaceful, and we will experience a purer and purer form of happiness. Eventually, we will be able to stay happy all the time, even in the most difficult circumstances.

I’d love to have a little time for some enforced peace!!! If I had this to listen to, I’d make myself take the time for it..

Trying something new is healthy for an individual. The benefits of taking a few minutes to listen might make the difference of a frown to a smile.

My grandaughter just turned 2 and my son and his wife are doing time outs. It is working for them so far but this sounds way calmer than time outs, im going to mention this to them!

My son’s ascent into his teen years is very stressful. It’s surprisingly similar to how I felt when he was going through the “terrible twos”. However,(unfortunately) now he knows a lot more words! Meditation could be helpful!

Oh Jaime, I swear I don’t how my son lived through his teen years!! That boy!! If he had been born first he would have been an only child!! He’s 33 this year and a FANTASTIC MAN!! Who even keeps his house cleaner than MINE!?! WHAAAA????
Hang in there!!

With a full time job, being a Mom and a caregiver to my 89 year old mother I need some relaxation. I will give meditation a try and hopefully it will help calm me down.
slehan
I like that you can share it with Alice and it calms both of you down.

I could have used a product like this when my son was little, but somehow I got through! I’ve never tried meditation before, but perhaps it could help to save me from mother in-law? lol

I dont think meditation is for me but it does work for alot of people.

I have tried to meditate to a tape before and all I could do is giggle at how funny it sounded. But I can sit in the woods or on the porch and just breathe for a while, so I guess its just what you are use to

I do actually try to meditate daily, but time gets away from me.
My middle daughter has just discovered it and it helps her with her stressful AP classes.

I tried meditating years ago and just could not do it. My mind starts thinking of all sorts of things. I do try to breathe more when stressed.

Looks like I need it – I ticked everything on the list! I tried yoga but ended up with lower back pain.
Fantastic review as always, Connie!

Too bad it doesn’t come by the case! LOL I have a lot of stress in my life. I try to laugh it off and be easy going but anyone including my Chiropractor says I have large nots in my shoulders.

I’ve been meditating for over a year now. After seeing Transcendental Meditation on Oprah I drove into Chicago to study it. I also got books on it. For the 1st time in my life I did not get depression over the winter. It really works. The instructor said I would sleep like a baby. Didn’t believe her but if I regularly practice it twice a day I sleep 8-9 hours without waking up. And I am in my late 50’s when most women get up to go to the bathroom
Susan Broughton
They say meditation is good for you, but I have never tried it myself. Maybe I should give it a try

I’ve done mindful meditation for a while now and it really helps to relieve any symptoms that I feel (fatigue, stress, confusion) and over time has left me more calm and productive. This sounds just as beneficial! Haha, I’m sure Alice keeps you on your toes. It’s great if you can do this together!

A good way to slow down.

Can meditation help tinnitus? I’m trying to be a brave warrior but even Klingons have limits.

Thanks for this great review Connie! I was Rockin My Inner Mama at my parent’s house this weekend with the kids…and Grandma was rockin’ it too! Lots of listeners enjoy the CD in the car with the kids. Why not on a bike ride too.
Amy Jarecki
You’re so right. I need to meditate very day! My only problem is that I just made time to ride my bike 8 miles each morning. I’ll add meditation to the list…maybe I can multitask????

Oh, how different the attitude on meditation today than it was when I started meditating thirty years ago.

Wow! This sounds like a CD anyone could use. Sometimes you just need to take a deep breath and step away from a situation. Thanks for the review.
