The Iron Duke by L Ron Hubbard

I’m sad, this is my last L.Ron Hubbard book on cd to review.  I have really enjoyed listening to these tremendous books. As much as I enjoyed Hubbards Battlefield Earth.

These books are fully recreated stories with all the sound effects and the multi-cast reading.  These cd’s are truly like listening to a Broadway play.

The Iron Duke may be my favorite yet.  This story has everything!! Blacky Lee is man’s man (ahhh ladies man too!).  There is a whiny little sidekick named Stubs. The story is a love story. A story with lots of adventure and intrigue. Suspense and humor. I picture Blacky Lee with the good looks of Gerard Butler. He’s a con man.  He’s a ladies man. He only has his own best interests at heart.  Or does he??

With Father’s Day coming up these stories on CD would be a great gift for any Dad!!  With hundreds of titles to choose from you can pick what ever topic Dad enjoys.  Sea Adventures? Air? Tales from the Orient? Far Flung? Mystery? Science Fiction? Fantasy? Western?  L. Ron Hubbard has written all of it!!

I’ve really enjoyed listening to these books.  I give them all 2 very enthusiastic thumbs way UP!! Thank you Galaxy Press, Stories of the Golden Age.
