Timber Wool Dryer Balls Review
Since I am on the subject of laundry I thought now would be a great time to tell you about these dryer balls
I had no idea that dryer balls would make such a huge difference in drying time. BUT they DO!! Seriously, these are little wool balls that make my clothing dry faster. By 25%! Look at me saving electricity! NOT only do these wool dryer balls dry my clothes faster but they also soften my clothing without having to use fabric softener or dryer sheets. Now for those of you that use the fabric softener or dryer sheets for the scent, did you know that you can add your favorite essential oils to your wool dryer balls!? After your laundry is completely dry add a couple of drops of essential oils to just a couple of the dryer balls and throw them back in the dryer, change your dryer setting to air fluff (i.e. no heat) for 10 minutes. I use Lavender oil for bedding and towels. HEAVENLY!!
The dryer balls bounce around in the dryer separating clothes, allowing more hot air to circulate through the laundry. They also help to absorb and pull moisture out of your clothes. Thus reducing drying time by up to 25%.
The balls gently rub against your clothes. This softens the laundry naturally, while reducing wrinkles. Meanwhile, they reduce the amount of contact fabrics have with one another in the dryer, and thus reducing static cling.

What is there to whine about? I don’t need fabric softener or dryer sheets. My laundry is drying faster with less wrinkles and less static too!! What could I possibly whine about!?!?!? I’m down with laundry faster! I’m all for that!! BONUS they are great GREEN item!! No chemicals!! Look at me being all eco-friendly!!

I’ve been using dryer balls for a year now. I like them and usually add a couple drops of lavender essential oil to them.

I’m glad to read all this, as I didn’t really understand much about these wool dryer balls. I’m excited to try it, esp as I have lavender essential oil, and I’d love to have the laundry come out with the fragrance of lavender!
