Wummel Box Review! Craft time for Alice!!
It’s taking everything I have in me not to post a million pictures for this review!! Seriously, Alice and I are having SO MUCH FUN with the Wummel Box!! FUN for Alice and educational too!!
I watch my 2 year old Granddaughter Alice during the week. We play, we explore, we do crafts and we learn! Alice knows her ABC’s by sight. Alice has learned sight words, like TIGER, ELEPHANT and 12 more. We have school everyday. She is a SPONGE!! I want to keep challenging her!! We do crafts like paint, grow tomatoes, but never has doing a craft and LEARNING at the same time been so easy. It takes NO prep time on my part!! Everything comes in the Wummel Box! Inside the box is 3 or 4 crafts. Not just crafts but learning crafts!
The box we received to review is the Time Travel box. Each of the 4 crafts was wrapped in bright orange tissue paper. It’s like opening a present every time we start a new project.
First thing we did was build a Time Machine. Everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING is in the box!
A piece of 8.5 x 5.5″ pine board (Thick! Too 3/4″ thick!) Alice painted her board green. The paint brush and the water colors are included in the kit. After the board was painted we painted the knobs. Again solid wood, sanded smooth. The knobs are 1.5 inch. We let the board and knobs dry over night.
Next, Alice painted the Mammoth, heavy poster board, with the mammoth ready to be punched out. I helped put the mammoth together. The mammoth is part of the hunter and gatherer game that we will play next week.
The next day we put together our Time Travel Machine!! First Alice placed the stickers on the board and NaNa attached the knobs (screws are included!) to the board. Just making sure not to make them too tight you want them to spin around a little.
Alice helped by handing me the screws. Alice truly couldn’t watch me any closer if she tried!!
Each of the projects has an instruction booklet with it. Each booklet tells you if your child will need a little help, some help or a lot of help. Just check out the pie chart on the bottom right side of the direction booklet.
If you want more information, or video instructions that is available too at www.wummelbox.com.
Alice and I finished up our lesson watching Ice Age and playing with dinosaurs. EXCELLENT day if I don’t mind saying so myself!!
See what I mean about the pictures?? I can’t help myself!!!!! You’ll be happy to know I deleted about 10!
Alice and I give Wummel Box 4 very enthusiastic thumbs UP!! WAY UP!!!
We can’t wait for Monday!! We are CAVE PAINTING!!!
Disclosure I received complimentary products for the purpose of my review. No other compensation was provided. The opinions are mine and 100% honest. I have not been influenced in any way.

What fun for both of you! I know it’s the computer age, but I think she knows her words by sight, not site….
