Shop Bedding Review
My review today is for a Satin fitted sheet. This satin sheet is so soft and cuddly that Baby Alice commandeered mine straight out of the package. (Notice the temper tantrum Alice is having? I swear to you that is a real tantrum Alice threw when I tried to take back my (her) new sheet)! So, now this is NaNa and Alice’s review. ShopBedding.com has a great assortment of colors! From the beautiful sage I ordered, to a beautiful grape color and 15 other awesome colors. (even animal prints to get in touch with your wild side!) Although I don’t get to have the bed sheet on MY bed I can tell you it’s luxuriously soft! The fitted corners are deep (16″ deep!). The elastic around the fitted sheet is a good sturdy elastic. Alice and I may not agree on who’s bed this sheet belongs on, but, we do agree the color is beautiful! The sheet has an elegant shine and well, mostly it’s just soooo SOFT!!! The satin sheets come in Twin, Full, Queen, King and California King. 100% Polyester Satin. Machine Washable and baby approved!! The prices start at $11.99 for the twin size! Chalk City® Activity Kit Review & Give-Away!!
GIVEAWAY IS OVER If your kids like to be outside (or you just need them outside for your own sanity!) We have the perfect activity kit for you!!! I want to introduce you to the Chalk City Activity Kit. This kit is so COOL!!!!!!!!! Using the Road Maker tool, we drew a winding road around the patio. Seriously, that road maker tool is AWESOME!! The tool snaps together easy and the chalk stays put inside holders, you walk around and pull the tool with you. In less than 2 minutes we had a great road with twists and turns galore! After the road was drawn the kids went to work with the stencils. Look at this great teamwork!! After the road was complete and the signs were placed where we wanted them we made up the rules for the obstacle course. When you get to the chalk stencil of feet you had to jump up and down 10 times. The chalk person stencil meant you have to do 10 jumping jacks. The arrow meant you have to spin around 10 times. (note to self… NaNa canNOT spin around 10 times… next time make it 5!! Ewww seriously!! How do kids do…
Photography Workshop Review Part 4
This week I learned about: Lens Opening, Shutter Speed and Shooting Modes. Each week the classes are getting a little more challenging. This week I was truly glad I could go back and listen to a couple of area’s again. (I know I say this a lot but I really like having this class on my desktop where I can refresh what I’ve learned anytime I want!) I really enjoyed this weeks lesson!! Learning how to blur the background to focus on ONE thing in a photo and taking another picture that shows the entire area with no blur. LOVE this!! I took these two photo’s only seconds apart, by just changing the lens opening on my camera I have 2 distinctly different shots! (these shots were part of my homework assignment after the lens opening chapter. Each chapter has a set of assignments that I found very helpful!) Aren’t my Plumeria’s beautiful?? The Shutter Speed chapter has really come in handy this week. Baby Alice started walking this week!! I need to be able to freeze her in motion! (because this kid may have only been walking a week… but she is already FAST!! I don’t want just a blur in…
