Ireland and other countries in Europe have banned the use of ordinary light bulbs and we now use energy efficient ones that cost practically the same but last for up to ten years! Every little helps when it comes to saving money and our environment!

Another good suggestion is to use LED lightbulbs. They use a lot less energy and give off more light.

I have my lights on timers. I turn off computer and other electronics by turning off the power strip.
