5 Essentials You Should Have on Your Wedding Checklist

Getting ready for your wedding can be a joyous and overwhelming time for couples. With so much to do and so many decisions to make, you must have a clear and concise checklist to ensure you don’t overlook any details. Here are five essentials you should have on your wedding checklist to ensure your big day is as perfect as you’ve always imagined. From the engagement ring, wedding dress, and of course the honeymoon.

Your Wedding Location

First on the list is the venue for your wedding, which influences almost every aspect of the big event. Consider the style of the wedding, the time of year, and the setting you want. For example, if you’re aiming for something tropical, you could look into amazing destination wedding venues in Hawai’i.

Your Guest List

Next is your list of wedding guests. The number of people who attend will affect everything from the venue size to the catering costs.

Be sure to involve your partner in this process and decide on a number that feels right for both of you. Remember that each guest is an important part of your day, so choose thoughtfully. Once you have finalised your guest list, you’ll want to make use of a service like AuraPrint in order to design and print your “Save The Date” cards, and later, your wedding invitations. Typically, “Save The Date” cards are sent six to twelve months before the big day, so deciding on a guest list really is one of the first things you need to get done.

5 Essentials You Should Have on Your Wedding Checklist

Your Choice of Caterer

Another essential you should have on your wedding checklist is the caterer. Choosing the right caterer is paramount to ensuring a happy day for you and your guests.

Look for a caterer who provides delicious and high-quality food that aligns with your theme and dietary preferences. Arrange for tastings with potential caterers to ensure their offerings meet your standards and discuss any customization options they may offer.

Your Wedding Clothes

Choosing what you and your wedding party will wear on the big day is also important. From the groom’s attire to the bridal gown and bridesmaids’ dresses, these outfits can impact the feel of the ceremony. Make sure you don’t start shopping late so that you have ample time for fittings and alterations.

Your Rehearsal Dinner Location

The rehearsal dinner is an important prelude to the wedding day, providing a setting to reunite with family and friends. The location should be a place where you can enjoy the company of your guests.

Additionally, the venue should fit the vibe you want to convey. For example, you might want to hold it in the refined atmosphere of a luxury restaurant or the airy, casual space of an event hall.

Planning a wedding involves careful consideration of many details, but by focusing on these essential checklist items, you can ensure nothing is up to chance. With careful planning, your wedding will be an event you and your partner will always remember.

When The Husband and I got married I did everything. I made myself a bouquet from silk flowers and I don’t mind saying it looked amazing. I second handed the dress. The most expensive thing? The Husbands TUX!! Seriously, his was more than my dress. LOL

This is a good checklist for people planning a wedding. It is also importantt to stick to a budget. I know a lot of people who spend a ton of money and didn’t even last a year in the marriage.
