Hello, Little Peanuts! I can say that up here in Idaho it’s FINALLY Spring. GESH! Winter was rough this year. I felt like I was going a little bit stir-crazy here at the end. The Husband is seriously LUCKY that he survived. Towards the end here I started to feel a little bit………………….
The Husband is safe now because I can open the doors, I can open the windows. I can work in the yard. Ahhhhhhhhh SPRING!!

But, it was worth all the Tylenol because the front of the house looks amazing. The deer as they wander through the yard leave me flowers that have bloomed (ya know….by poopin’) So, NEW flowers have been popping up!! So pretty!
Even sweet Bear is smiling. However, spring has brought my ENEMY! The CHIPMUNK! This little guy eats all the bird seed I put out. They try to get in the house. BAD Chip and Dale. BAD!!

Just finishing out paperwork etc for the month. Made some baked chicken for dinner later. I usually try to fix food early in the morning and then when I get hungry around 3 or 4 I can just eat something healthy instead of junk food.
Hard to believe May is over and June is ready to start.

It was along day at the doctor’s appointment that ended with a biopsy. That meant a pencil sized needle in the boob. Yikes. Three to five days for results.

Shopping at a discount store here called GABES they have 130+ stores over the US. If you have one and have never gone you are missing out. I had $10 off $50. coupon so I only spend $52.00 dollars today. I was in there over a hour for me that is a long time my mother can be in there for HOURS. I got a lot of different craft things always somethng new for great niece. Got a real cute top original tag on it said $48. I paid $5.99.
Stopped at Arbys and picked up a sandwich and ate it on the way home. Now I am just being lazy. Hard to believe that the month is almost over.

Quick trip to kroger and OMG that store was packed and it was only 10 am. Got home put ever thing away. Then decided to clean out a hall closet. My niece mentioned the other day she needed some plastic drawer bins. Had 2 heavey duty sets in thecloset and it was so great to get rid of them. My hall closet looks so great. So my niece stopped by and picked them up. going to use for her craft stuff.

When I left home this morning I was going to the bank and that was it. BUT when my car pulled out of the parking lot it turned left instead of right! It just kept doing it right accross the bridge and up the hill and in to the parking lot of Gabes at discount store. A little over a hr later I spend $95. and saved almost $10. for Senior Monday and got 2 coupons for later use.
While there I saw a wall clock with Minnie Mouse on it…………. and recalled a video on facebook. They asked all these high scool students what time it was on the wall clock. Most of them had no ideal what the time was. Decided great niece (6) needs to learn how to tell time on this clock so I bought it. She is finishing kindergarten this week. And she love school!

Woke up at 3:30 am could not go back to sleep so got up gathered laundry down to laundry room. It was 4 when I got down stairs and I could see two ambulance with red light flashing in our parking lot. I never got up to go see who it was just hope it was nothing serious. Hr and half later clothes done in closet or in drawers……………. done
Sat down in the recliner and decided I was ready for a nap slept 4 hrs

Got a text last night from niece ………… great niece (6) wanted ot spend the day with me. So they got her about 9:30. We drew, finger painted, played dolls etc etc. She loves to look around and find different stuff and things then give me the look.
She helped me putting up her mommy’s signs for hair cuts. Brit is a beautian and her grandmother talked her in to coming in the building once a month. Hair cuts $20 Hair cut & style $25. She is here for about 3 hrs and does 4 to 6 people each time.
When we got back she got her makeup out (she has a lot here) then I mentioned I had bought one of those little fridge. OMG she was jumping up and down telling she wanted one of them so bad but mommy would not buy it for here. I found it at a discount place for $19.99 always wanted but once I got it never pluged it in. So I told if mommy said yes she could have it. Mommy said she to clean her room before she could have.
Mommy picked up her at 5……………. she has been coming here several times a month since she was a baby. She knows where ever thing is here

Way back on this day in 1970 my husband took me to Central Park all the way uptown after classes to tell me that he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me…5 months later we were married and juggled university classes with working to pay the rent .. we were together until he passed 6 years ago – when I think back on this day and the happiness it brought me…..

My knee has been bothering me and finally reached a point saw dr today. Exrays but didn’t see any damage so put me on a steriods for 5 days. I got to a point where I was using my desk chair to get around my apartment. this knee has worn me out!

Just got home from running some errands and saw a horrific car accident on the way home I am still shook up over it. Idiots drive way way way way too fast on the rural roads that I have to travel on and it is so scary to drive anywhere anymore.

Some how, someway in the last month I hurt my knee. I didnot fall, or twist it, BUT it has me in pain. It was bad knee anyway and I think I just stood on it to long. Once I get walking on it the pain is not bad. But if I have been sitting/sleeping and stand up I feel like I am going to fall. So I finally got smart this week. Sitting or sleeping I have a desk chair near me. When I get up I move to the chair. That way I can roll to the door way and hold on the door frames till I get moving. Called and have apointment Friday cannot stand it any longer!

Started a new diet today, trying to cut sugar intake. See if that might help with inflammation. We’ll see how long this lasts, lol. I definitely have a sweet tooth.

What a bloomin’ day! Up at 05.30, left 06.30, back at 20.00. The van driver was lovely. Michele, he’s Hungarian & lives in Co. Cork! Anyway, we cleared the big storage unit but had to leave some things that will fit in the car for another day in the smaller & cheaper unit. The 2 finished rooms are full of stuff, not even room to assemble one of the beds so I’ll be on the couch till I get more rooms finished. Back in the B&B now, had a lovely shower, a glass of Irish whiskey, now bed. Ciao for now till sometime during the week.

Looking around for more small appliances to give away – brand new back-up coffeemaker is the next to go…hate to give up my professional kitchen aid stand up mixer but no sense in taking it – would need an electricity converter and I am not bothering with that – and I have no plans of doing the amount and quantity of baking I used to do….then the rest of the day is watching some art theft/forger movies – love them….

I didn’t realize how exhaused I was from getting my mother ready for this cruise. Running around picking up this and that, packing the suitcase ….. just everthing. Thur after they left I had a nap got up ate did this and that and then I was down for another nap. Slept almot 7 hrs last night got up a 6 dressed etc, by 9 am I was in recliner and out slept for almost 5 hrs. A now at almost 4 pm I keep looking at the recliner and thinking about another nap. I plan on sleeping a lot this weekend……..

It was a glorious day. Sun shining, warm temps, and I got to begin winter clean-up (take away leaves from perennials, find “lost” items that the snow had covered (hey, I even found a rake).

I spend almost 2 hrs yesterday going through ALL the clothes my mother had throw into her suitcase. She left this morning for a 9 day cruise. She had enough clothes to last her a month or more. Just to list a few things She had 10 swimsuits, 7 pair of white jean shorts all the same. There had to be at least 30 tops………….. and so so much more. I got as much as i could in the big suitcase I didn’t think I would get it zipped. I slid it off the bed no way I could lift. It took both of my brothers this morning to load it in the trunk. And then I also find out one brother had some room in his suitcase and she added more clothes.
They asked me to go with them………………….. NO NO NO
I am on vacation now NO body needs or wants anything from me for at least 10+ days!!!

Time to give some stuff away – a smoker to my neighbour next door and a commerical juicer to another neighbor who has a juice stand in town….love doing this – I have no need for these small appliances and they are in great condition the smoker was never used and the juicer maybe 2-3 times in all these years….why throw things out if someone can use them….

Eight hours driving today but it’s been worth it. I can’t afford a truck to move my stuff so have to make sure it will fit in the big van. I can really see the difference in the storage unit now. One more trip tomorrow and most of the small boxes etc. will have been shifted! I’ll have no internet for about a week but I’ll be asleep for some of that & there’s free WiFi at the local library if I’m feeling isolated.

My mother 93 is getting ready to go on a cruise she is excited but tired already from getting stuff ready to go. I have done some stuff BUT. MY mother is a ironer and ever thing in that suitcase has been iron and spray starched till it could stand alone.. Heck I don’t even own a iron!!
So getting ready to head to her place now to make sure she has ever thing ready. They are leaving a 7am on thursday

Emptied my carload yesterday & headed back to Wexford this morning to load up again. Left at 9.30 & back by 3.30 so not too bad. I missed the morning rush hour & the childrens’ school pick-up times which would have meant bumper-to-bumper traffic. Heading to the house tomorrow to paint & unpack car then I’ll go back to Wexford again on Wed.
Gloria, I’m planning to move on Sunday 14th. I’ll have to rough it for a while but what the heck! If my Mum & Dad can honeymoon in a van with a mattress in the back & 2 buckets (one for washing, the other for a toilet) then I’m pretty sure I’ll cope!!!

My day is going pretty good now that I am home safely. I had to go to the store and one the way home six motocycles passed a bunch of cars on a corner with cars coming in the other lane it was so scary I am still shook up over it.

WAs up early and decided to go to laundry. There was no one there got the BIG washer & dryer there are faster. So I was back with everthing hung up/put away in a little less than 40 minutes.
Cut up chicken breast and into the oven. Never know what I am going to do with it, but its cooked and ready. Niece called she was coming over to cut grandma’s hair (she is beautian) so she and great niece stopped by for a little while. After she cut grandma’s hair she was off to another customer in the building to cut some kids hair.

Woke up at 4:30 am turned the tv on to CNN. They were just getting in to the carriage, I watched the coronation and was so surprised. I just never expected so much reglion in the ceremony. And this is not nice to say but I could just hear the king/queen OMG these robes are hot, this crown is heavy. You want me to hold these heavy things. If they made it more modern I would hate to see what they had do years ago. I watched it till they got in the coach and PW and family got in a coach…………………………. AND the next thing I knew it was 11 am
So have looked around and watched some more and then decided I needed a nap.

Had a good day going quick trip to kroger everything put aways. Bought meatballs just putting them in the oven when a neighbor stopped by needing info. Was on the phone with comcast auto system………….. I just wanted to reach in that phone ….. BUT I just yelled at it a lot
Then the neighbor left and got the meatball in a pan and poured sauce on them turned it on low. Then the neighbor came back……………………. I forgot about the meatballs…………….. I had sauce everwhere……………………………mfsdmnlfdsklka;f mlklklfkjlljsfa;sdfj; that is just some of things I said.

Not much sleep last night then woke to the news that the musical director of all those Pantos has died. He only retired from teaching last year and was so looking forward to his retirement along with his cellist wife. He had music and naughtiness in his veins in equal amounts. Cancer bloody sucks.

They’ve lined up a biopsy for me at the end of the month, so there’s that to dread, lol. Oh well, I’m going to try to just not stress about it because there’s nothing I can do to change anything–it’s a wait and see kind of thing. There will be time to stress later on if it’s necessary.

There have been pictures all over facebook on our weather in WV. A lot of higher elevations got SNOW several inchs of it. Lower areas we just got the cold weather Nevt week it is back in the 70’s Was going to say quick trip to walmart but they have moved EVER thing in that store. And some of it so stupid. So it was a lot of hunt and seek and then I would think of something would have to hunt again.

Ouch! Everything aches after another long day of painting. The guy I had lined up to move my furniture from one side of the country rang to say he’d had to move back to the UK as his elderly parents are both quite frail so now I’m frantically seraching online (with lousy internet service) to find a replacement.
