Boo Hoo Crew!! There’s a Creature In The Sea!

My followers know that I am a big fan of the local celebrity Clint Perry and The Boo Hoo Crew!! These guys are awesome with kids and adults alike. Clint and Crew put on an awesome show!

Clint is asking fans and the Kickstarter community to give Creature in the Sea a “kickstart” out the door. The book has been illustrated and completed, The song produced and finished by veteran chilidren’s music producer James Coffey and we’ve even got the digital additions finished. All we really need are the funds for are duplication. 1000 books or more if funding goes beyond our project need. It’ll be Hard Cover. Glossy. and including a code for the song’s redemption from boohoocrew.com.

This book will be American produced (not made in China)

It will be a high-quality 8 x 8 hard cover book

Marketing is a snap. The Boo Hoo Crew plays shows 18 to 20 times a month. Moving the product won’t be a challenge. Boo

Frankly, the biggest challenge we have at the moment is the capital just to finish this process and that is our reasoning behind doing this Kickstarter Campaign. We need the funds to move on all the different project we have and this is the next inline. It’s been delayed for two months now and we’d love your help in getting it out the door!

There are few risks. The book is complete. The biggest risk we have is not being able to sell it, but The Boo Hoo Crew’s fan base is large, especially in it’s home town of San Diego, and moving copies should not be an issue. We have relationships with local retailers as well and distributing copies in brick and mortar stores should not be an issue.

But, that brings up the 2nd biggest challenge. Distribution in brick and mortar stores Nationally. We will attempt to work with Target, Wal Mart, Lakeshore Learning and other national retailers to get this product placed.

Refreshing My Old Blog Posts: The Good, The Bad, and The 404s

Updating an old blog post is a lot like an archaeological dig. You expect a quick “dusting” and end up unearthing a series of questionable life choices from 2014.

I recently opened a “quick update” only to find:

• Missing Images: Key tutorial steps now require “imagination.”
• Dead Links: Half my brand partners have rebranded as “AI Crypto Collectives.”
• Antique Fonts: Styles that haven’t been cool since the dial-up era.

Why I’m Optimizing This Blog

It’s not glamorous, but fixing broken links and whispering “Pick me!” to Google makes the site faster and easier for you to find. I’m not spiraling; I’m just cleaning up the blog ghosts.
