Blooming Phalaenopsis Orchid

Is there anyone out there who doesn’t love a beautiful flowering orchid? They are such a pretty plant. They are my favorite flowers. I love the different colors inside each flower, and the uniqueness of each bloom makes me just stop and enjoy staring at them. I am very lucky; for some unknown reason, I can actually grow orchids.

I am horrible to them! I forget to water them, they never get fed, and yet year after year I have beautiful blooms. The orchids that live in my house are gluttons for punishment!!

Ochid Complaints

I seriously don’t know why they continue to bloom for me.  If I had one complaint, I know after all the abuse they take, and I have the nerve to complain?! Seriously?! But, yes, I do have a complaint. I wish that the blooms lasted longer. I would love to enjoy that pop of color all year long.

Saving The Day With A Year Long Orchid

This Orchid is from Silk Plants Direct. They are a silk flowers and plants retailer with an extensive silk flowers collection. I spent days trying to pick the perfect plant for my home. It wasn’t an easy task. There are so many fantastic choices!! I finally picked the Phalaenopsis Orchid in Purple; isn’t this one of the prettiest flower you’ve ever seen? It looks SO REAL!!! The leaves look real! THE Orchid looks real!! Even the water in the bottom of the vase looks real!!

The Perfect Size

My new Phalaenopsis Orchid measures 15″ x 11″ x 6″ with 3 full blooms, 1 partial bloom and a couple of buds that look like they would bloom any day.

My Phalaenopsis arrived in a real flower box and was wrapped extremely well in bubble wrap. My flower arrived in pristine condition. AND quickly too!! I am thoroughly pleased with the entire experience. From shopping on Silk Plants Direct’s amazing site, where I could find plants, trees, containers, flowers, the list just goes on!! There is so much to look at!! The arrival of my package in a beautiful box and unwrapping to find my Orchid well packaged and damage-free. I couldn’t wait to get my plant on the table so I could enjoy it completely. It is absolutely perfect!!  It will remain perfect for years!

It’s 2026 and THIS beautiful Orchid STILL sits on my table.

WHINES

Ummmm hellloooo did you see my new flowers? Did you see the colors?? Did you notice how real they look? What on earth could I find to complain about!?!? Now if I could just get those slugs on the kitchen counter to learn to drag themselves to the sink when they wanted water, I would be truly happy!!
