Solving the Most Common Bra Shopping Issues!

If you are anything like most women you are not great at going out and buying yourself new underwear. The majority of us own at least one bra that has seen better days. Yet we still will not go out and replace it.

Why that is, varies from person to person, but there are some issues that are common to most of us. Fortunately, as you will see, there are some really easy ways around most of them.

Finding the right bra feels like mission impossible.

Bra sizes

At least once, most of us have spent hours trying on bras, only to go home empty-handed. As a result, we kind of expect to fail.

Usually, this is because we have been looking in the wrong places. You really need to shop somewhere that offers plenty of choice and the style of underwear that is most likely to suit your body type. This retailer sells more styles of lingerie than most do. Refreshingly, they sell a good range of plus size bras, baby dolls, knickers and shapewear.

Avoid embarrassment by measuring yourself

One reason most women end up trying on so many different bras is that you are not sure what size they are. Of course, this issue is easy enough to get around. All you need to do is to get yourself measured.  The problem is that most of us feel a bit embarrassed about asking the shop assistant to do this.

Fortunately, it is not hard to measure yourself properly and work out which cuts are most likely to work for you. This article explains exactly how to do it.

Do not be afraid to ask for help.

The other mistake many of us make is not asking for help. Most of us are not that familiar with the different bra cuts. Few of us have much idea of what cup type is likely to suit us best.

Fortunately, the shop assistant usually does. The fact that there is a relatively high markup on lingerie means that most stores train the staff who take care of this department, properly. As a result, they really are a great source of knowledge. A good assistant will be able to quickly narrow down the best options and help you to find what you need.

Realizing you have bought the wrong bra

If you follow the above tips you are far less likely to arrive home with the wrong bra. However, it can still happen.

The only sure way to ensure you do not end up taking the wrong bra home is to try it on properly before you take it home. That means going to the trouble of adjusting the straps and making sure it stays where it should. Stretch up, bend forwards and fold your arms to be sure that they fit is 100% right.

You also need to take a deep breath and look at yourself in the mirror from every angle. This is the only way you can be sure that it really does offer the support you need and create the silhouette you are after.

Oh, I hate having to buy a new bra, lol. If you get a good one you just want it to last forever because the next one might be all wrong.
