$50 Your Way Giveaway May 2026
April sure was ummm fun? Nooooo not really. Seems quite a few of us Peanuts will be so glad that April is over and May is a fresh month. Fresh month, fresh giveaway.
The Husbands MS is kicking his ASS. This poor man can NOT catch a break. We also learned he is in the early stages of alzheimer’s. Well, doesn’t THIS little tidbit add some excitement to mountain life??
On a brighter note, Walter (the new boss of the house, a Bernese Mountain Dog/Great Pyrenees puppy) has been sharing some products he loves over at Walter’s Puppy Survival Guide.” Walter and I hope you will check those out.
Now for the real reason you are here.

Giveaway Time
The Rules: A little of the blah blah blah stuff: This giveaway is open worldwide for PayPal, Venmo, and Amazon. I’m willing to try any GC that you think would work worldwide. This giveaway is $50 US currency.
This giveaway is hosted by yours truly. No co-hosts. No mystery elves. Just me.
Furthermore, I will NEVER ask for anything weird. No fees, no passwords, no interpretive dance. I only need to know where to send your prize. That’s it.If you win, the email will come from Connie @ peanutbutterandwhine com. I’ve learned the hard way that subject lines like “Congratulations!” vanish straight into spam jail, so expect something more like:
“HEY, it’s Connie” or “Guess WHAT?”
Totally legit. Mildly dramatic.
I’d love it if you came back often, hung out a bit, and clicked around. In fact, looking at more than one page really helps me keep this little corner of the internet alive. Similarly, extra ad clicks are always appreciated and quietly celebrated.
By clicking on ad’s and purchasing through my blog does NOT cost you extra money. Pinky promise. It just helps keep this giveaway rolling month after month like a happy little cash parade.
I’m An Amazon Affiliate NOW!!
In addition to the giveaway, I’m also an Amazon affiliate. Therefore, any purchases you make starting on my blog kick a few shekels my way. AND, doesn’t cost you anything. (I really SHOULD whine right here!)
There are tons of ways to enter the $50 Your Way Giveaway.
Comments? I LOVE comments.
Sharing? Yes please.
Hint hint. Nudge nudge.
Sharing also earns you extra entries, which means better odds and bragging rights.
Every once in a while I’ll sneak in a new entry option, so check back occasionally. These surprise entries usually pop up as a comment request on a specific post.
GOOD LUCK! On to the Giveaway!!! Good Luck Little Peanuts!!

heather
I am cleaning the house at the moment and almost done with laundry not bad for 8:45 am! lol I wanted to get everything done as it was 86 degrees here yesterday and looks like it’s gonna be another hot one here. I can’t handle anything over 70-75 degrees anymore! My left arm is all sunburned from my epic journey to Walmart and back. I need to get some serious sunscreen and remember to put it on before I drive anywhere. Now I need to prepare for Mother’s Day this weekend. Have a nice day out there.
Cynthia C
Just got back from chair pilates. I’m going out for yard work after lunch.
Michele Soyer
Just sitting here waiting for my grocery delivery with no real ambition to do anything…soup kitchen tomorrow then no scheduled time in until Monday..Saturday we are going to the ballet and Sunday to Olympians on Ice both shows look to be a wonderful Mothers Day present from my daughter….so grateful…once again putting on those heels!!
KATE SARSFIELD
Funny how just one angry email gets customer service on the line! My faulty laptop is due to be collected today, apparently. Will believe it when I see it! In the meantime, another new laptop has arrived (from Amazon, using the postal service). I don’t normally use Amazon, I don’t think Bezos needs any more money, but using ‘An Post’ means reliable delivery. I’m going back to bed now (11.45am) – still so tired after yesterday.
Tamra Phelps
I know what you mean, Kate. I hate using Amazon these days because I hate putting money in that man’s pocket–but sometimes the options are limited.
Shelly Peterson
Today I had dialysis and had the grandkids over.
Thomas Gibson
I’m debating whether I should finally learn how to make homemade sushi or just keep ordering way too much takeout instead.
dana

the day is going well. was all set to go to an appointment this morning when they called and postponed it for a week. three hours free so that’s great. it works better next week anyway. volunteering this evening so must get a move on. enjoy your day. thanks
KATE SARSFIELD
I left the house at 6.30am, got to Enniskillen in the North and hit the supermarkets. Asda, then Tesco, then picked up some fence paint I’d orderded online, then a mad dash to a loo! I bought 24 x 40 pouches of wet food & 18 boxes of dry food. Total cost: £350 = €405 – ish. In real money that’s a saving of of €800 – ish. Yeeha! Just had pizza & icecream, the cats are ignoring me me, I’m so full of calories I need to sleep!
Tamra Phelps
Sounds like a successful day to me!
Barbara Montag
Early in the day yet.
So going well.
heather
I have to make a trip to Walmart this morning to pick up part of my order that they refuse to deliver to our house with the other items that I ordered online. The rest of my order will be delivered to the house next week! While I am making the 50 mile trip at $5.39 a gallon I will have a serious attitude problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
KATE SARSFIELD
What? How can they justify that?
heather
Hi Kate – I tried for two days to get the entire order shipped to our house as we live in a rural area but they split the order and made me pick part of it up at the store. Oh and they also informed me that I only had four days to pick it up! The only reason I even ordered from Walmart was because they had the body pillow that I wanted for $20.00 less than Amazon was selling it for. Never again! In the end, I didn’t save a dime and am still ticked off about the whole ordeal. At least Amazon delivers to our house. Have a nice day.
Shelly Peterson
Today was a busy day. Went to coffee with my sister in the morning. I had a dentist appointment and the grandkids came over.
Terri Quick
My younger got at my fuzzy sheep slippers. Ugh! Lol
l p
the day is going well. did some volunteering and then dropped by the stores I was in to see if they found my sunglasses. the last place I went to had them. whew – some money saved. enjoy your day. thanks
KATE SARSFIELD
More bloody mowing! But, I have to say, once that 1st cut is done, it’s so much quicker now. Did some planting & now about to get things ready for a shopping trip ‘up North’ tomorrow. The alarm’s set for 6am, God help me! Still no sign of the courier to return the faulty laptop.
DeeAnn
Oh what a gorgeous day here in southeast PA!! Sun is shining, temp is 80 deg, a slight breeze! How much better can it get! 🙂
Tamra Phelps
so, I was thinking about how the main thing I’m looking forward to is watching The Other Bennet Sister series on BritBox when it starts this week—and thought maybe that is kinda sad, lol. I mean, that’s the main thing going for me in life right now???? Then I decided not to think about it, ha. I mean, it’s something to look forward to anyway, right?
Michele Soyer
Going in soon to the Food bank apparently they received a large donation will stay until the goods are shelves then out to do a bit of shopping bips and bobs nothing important…neighbor over for a late lunch with margaritas of course!
Connie: The Head Peanut
Michele, you are always the energizer bunny. Have fun. Drink a margarita for me!
heather
Happy Cinco de Mayo! I am going big grocery shopping today should be super scary $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Have a nice day.
Connie: The Head Peanut

Connie: The Head Peanut
Me too. I even let the dog out, then went back to bed. I’m still sleepy.
Emily R.
My day has been okay.
Connie: The Head Peanut
I hope today is way better.
Tamra Phelps
Have to get up early tomorrow since my home health aide who helps with housework, etc., is coming in the morning. That’s a big help, actually.
Connie: The Head Peanut
Tamra how are you feeling? Better?
KATE SARSFIELD
Do you tidy the house before they come?
Julia Wilkie
Sitting here without power because of a rainstorm. Our stupid power company loses electricity if the wind blows.
Connie: The Head Peanut
Julia, we’ve been so lucky this year. So far. Are they at least quick with fixes?
Elizabeth Curson
My day is going great &i hope it continues!
Connie: The Head Peanut
Elizabeth, I hope the streak continues for the month of May.
Terri Quick
I’m just relaxing & probably going grocery shopping tomorrow
Connie: The Head Peanut
Ya know a day of relaxation sound amazing. Come get Walter, and I will relax. LOL
Cathy French
I did something soooo stupid today. I got lost coming home from the grocery store. The road I needed was closed and there was a detour. I didn’t really pay attention to all the detour signs since it is my extended area but I kept going straight and endded up in a very wrong location and a dead end. Lesson, all pay attention to detour signs even if you think you know where you are going. lol
Connie: The Head Peanut
Cathy, I have done that too many times. Have you ever gotten to your final destination and thought….. how did I get here already? Did I stop for all the stop signs?
l p
the day is going well. it’s bread-baking day and everything is behaving and on time. going out for a walk this evening, if the weather cooperates. enjoy your day. thanks
Connie: The Head Peanut
Again I say, I bet your house always smells amazing.
KATE SARSFIELD
I am so tired, but the grass doesn’t stop growing so I’ll do another hour or so of mowing. It’s a public holiday in Ireland although when you’re retired, every day’s a holiday!
Connie: The Head Peanut
It’s one of the best perks of being retired.
heather
We are doing spring cleaning here today. I need to make a quick trip to the store then back to organizing and filling up the donation box.
Connie: The Head Peanut
Heather, I need to spring clean. However, I have a puppy. IS THAT the best excuse ever or WHAT?!
Michele Soyer
Easy day today reading and maybe a bit of patio sweeping…Volunteering this evening for dinner at the soup kitchen 4 until clean up….then out for a drink with my friend….Happy Monday all may everyone have a pleasant week!
Connie: The Head Peanut

Connie: The Head Peanut

the day is going well. up early and went for a long walk. then did some volunteering for the rest of the morning. looking forward to a quiet evening. enjoy your day. thanks
KATE SARSFIELD
Another sleepless night so got up at 5am & vacuumed the house, went to the laundrette, home, hung out the washing, fed the cats & had my breakfast in bed before 9am. Fell asleep & woke up after 6pm! Mowed the lawn for over an hour and now I’m tired again.
Shelly Peterson
My internet has been down since yesterday. Can’t get an appointment for service til Wednesday. 😭 Not having tv or internet is horrible. Pulled out my DVD player earlier and my son pulled out his old PS4. Having to use my daughters internet.
Connie: The Head Peanut
That would make for a very long week. Hopefully everything is up and running now?
Connie: The Head Peanut
WOW Kate, that’s a full day. When I can’t sleep that is what I should do. Get up and be productive instead of just tossing and turning.
Terri Quick
I’m just relaxing today
Michele Soyer
All my best wishes and regards go out to your husband and of course to you Connie….
A dear friend of mine has been struggling with her husabnd having 5 strokes….now he is left side paralyzed..lighting candles for all of you….

Terri Quick
The weather is messing with my headaches today.
l p
the day is going well. on your advice, Connie, I danced (mercifully no one was watching). it helps to get more adrenalin going. need to get out and take the bones for a walk. enjoy your day. thanks
Connie: The Head Peanut
I love to blare loud fun music and dance as I vacuum. Seems to help.
KATE SARSFIELD
Jeez, Connie, poor George & poor you having to go through all of that. Fingers crossed xxx
Spent most of the day gardening. Found a tiny froglet in a flower bed. This is why I don’t use chemicals.
Connie: The Head Peanut
When we do something WE GO ALL OUT!!!
I love it when I find a little froglet. What I want to know is how they get up to the 3rd deck?? And HOW are they so LOUD?!?!
heather
I am happy that April is behind us too it wasn’t a fun one for me either. I am dealing with new health issues and they are no fun. Sorry to hear that your husband is going through so much too I will keep you all in my prayers. I get up super early so I can have time to myself. I watch the sunrise and read my daily devotional and pray for guidance for the day ahead.
Connie: The Head Peanut
That is a wonderful way to start your day. I love sitting in the quiet and just praying it makes the day go better.
Connie: The Head Peanut
Heather, I hope your new health issues aren’t serious and you feel better quick.
Laurie Nykaza
Today was water the garden day so that kept me really busy until it was time to make dinner.
Connie: The Head Peanut
It’s time for me to hook up the hoses here. I’ve been spoiled letting Mother Nature do the watering.
Tamra Phelps
Well, you have had a horrible April! Seriously, I believe they are on the cusp of a big breakthrough in treating Alzheimers. It runs in my family, so I take an interest… And they have made big discoveries in recent years, can diagnose it much earlier and treat it much better. My good vibes are beaming in your direction for your fella!
Connie: The Head Peanut
Thank you Tamra!
Elizabeth
I’m so sorry about your husband’s ailments, that’s got to be so hard! One day at a time is all I can suggest. Today is a rare day with no visiting nurses or other people coming for my mom, so we’ve been trying to remember what normal feels like today!
Connie: The Head Peanut
Thank you Elizabeth, that truly is my moto ‘one day at a time’ stay calm. Be patient. I can do this.
Terri Quick
Happy May Day everyone
Connie: The Head Peanut
Happy May Day a day late!
KATE SARSFIELD
Happy May Day! I stayed in all day as the faulty laptop was supposed to be collected between 8.00 and 5pm. Of course it wasn’t. Sent off an email of complaint.
Connie: The Head Peanut
Ohhhh that would NOT make me happy at ALL! Did they show up yet? Probably not on a Saturday huh?
Elaine G
Happy May!!
My day is going good so far. Sun is out.
Connie: The Head Peanut
Elaine, it’s absolutely a perfect day here too. Happy May Day a day late.

Happy May Day. So sorry to hear about your husband. I know so many that have MS. My daughter was diagnosed with MS when she was 17.
Connie: The Head Peanut
Oh Shelly! I’m so sorry about your daughters diagnosis. The Husband’s didn’t happen until his late 30’s. How is your daughter?
