ASAHOM Outdoor Lights Review: Winning the Holiday War
Okay, SERIOUSLY, it is NOT my FAULT that I am celebrating early. (At least this time it isn’t my fault!!) My neighbor Scotti started decorating for Halloween in AUGUST!! Y’all know I can NOT allow this type of blatant display of neighborhood dominance to go unanswered. OH no!! Noooo no no, I can NOT, I WILL NOT!! I LOVE HALLOWEEN! It’s MY Happy Holiday!! I can’t NOT challenge for first place! Right??
She added a light-up scary animal. I went more ‘traditional’ and created a black-and-white floral arrangement for the table.

So then Scotti added solar ‘fire lamps’ to her yard. FINE! I added a skeleton that I painted in glow-in-the-dark paint. He looks as if he is climbing out of the ground. I faced him towards Scotti’s yard. (I am winning!)
THEN THE GLOVES came off when Scotti hung outdoor lights!!??! This, my friends, is when I knew I had won!
Game On, Scotti! I Have ASAHOM Permanent Outdoor Lights.
I called my ‘Handyman’ Bryce and asked, ‘wanna help me hang up holiday lights?’
This is the FIRST thing I LOVE about ASAHOM outdoor lights. They are PERMANENT!! No more climbing up and down ladders every single holiday. I work smarter, not harder.
ASAHOM lights aren’t your average string lights that tangle into a massive knot in the attic. They mount permanently under your eaves (or under your railing when your eaves are STUPID high and you don’t have a ladder tall enough!)
These lights handle every holiday year-round—from Halloween and Thanksgiving to Christmas and the 4th of July—and all my lights are controlled right from my phone.

Why These Permanent Lights Are a Game-Changer:
- Brighter & Sleeker Design: Packed with 72 RGBCW LEDs (featuring triple lenses spaced 16.54 inches apart) to project bright, crisp light patterns like the signature Crest and Pillar looks.
- Built for All Weather: Features IP67 waterproofing on the lights, dual-output control box, and power supply, with an operating range from -4°F to 113°F and a 50,000-hour lifespan.
- 30,000+ Lighting Patterns: Jump into the app to switch between static colors, warm/cold white illumination (up to 3,600 lumens), dynamic RGB effects, or holiday presets.
- AI & Music Sync: Use AI prompts (text, voice, or image uploads) to create custom light shows, or turn on the 23 real-time music modes to let the lights dance to your phone’s mic rhythms.
- Easy Installation: Includes waterproof junction boxes (cuttable and splicable), dual-output wiring, wire clips, and end caps for a seamless setup under the eaves.
A Few Helpful Tips
Connect all the lights together to check that each does indeed work. It was a quick, easy test. All my lights worked. (I would have hated to put the lights up, then realized one set didn’t work! Work smarter. Not harder!)
We unhooked each set of lights to make it easier to handle a smaller section at a time.
Personally, I found that having 2 people working made the job go much faster. I cleaned the railing and stuck on each light. Bryce came behind me and screwed the lights into the rail. The adhesive is IMPRESSIVE!! Not a single light came loose before Bryce came by with the screws.
Next up, I downloaded the app, and my EYES POPPED!! There are 30,000 combinations! OR design my OWN! HA! Scotti, has orange; I HAVE 30,000! I WIN!! Hands Down.
Different Colors Every SINGLE Night
Every night I do a little happy dance, and I change my colors. Oh, POOR Scotti only has orange. baaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaa (That is my evil laugh in case you didn’t know!)
The ASAHOM lights can be dimmed or not. I put my lights on the brightest setting, drove down to the highway and looked up the mountain. I can spot my house EASILY!

Now off to add more items. Scotti added MORE items to her kitchen. So I added a tray of goodies.

Conclusion: I’m NOT Done! NOT Done Decorating. Not Done PLAYING With My ASAHOM Permanent Lights!
I can set MY ASAHOM lights to MUSIC!! The lights change color with the music! What a fun way to sit around the fire pit and watch a light show.
Whether you’re stuck in an early holiday war with your neighbors or just want permanent lights you never have to take down, ASAHOM IS the name to remember.
Happy ALL THE HOLIDAYS!! Now, I’m off to hide glowing eyeballs in Scotti’s Yard, and change the color of my lights. You know, basically create havoc in the neighborhood. baaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Happy Halloween!!

We go all out for Halloween (it’s our anniversary), lights, videos, decor. These would be a great addition to replace some older lighting we have.
