Guess Moo! iPad Game Review
FINALLY!!!! There is a true learning app that Alice can play and win!!!!! Ever since I got my iPad I’ve been hunting for an app that Alice (15 months) could play but learn something at the same time. Most of the apps I found were too fast-paced for 15 months.
That was until Guess Moo arrived!! This is THE APP!!! Alice and I have been playing Guess Moo for the last 2 weeks.
In that short period, Alice can usually guess 5 out of 8 animals correctly. I am astonished at how Alice has taken to this App so fast! At a mere 15 months, she can pick out the animal sound of each of the 12 animals. She’s BRILLIANT!!!!! Seriously, look at that face!! Is she not having fun there???
This has quickly become one of mine and Alice’s favorite apps for the iPad!!
I’m in awe at how fast this app has helped Alice with eye hand coordination, sound recognition and visual recognition.
If you have a little one and an iPad this needs to be on it!! The cards for the game are large enough for little hands that want to point with their whole fist.
The animal sounds are perfect. The little poems with each of the animals are sweet. There is classical music playing in the background but can be turned off by clicking the flower in the upper right-hand side.
Let’s Refresh This Really OLD Post, Shall We?
I mean, hello! This giveaway has been over for YEARS! WAY OVER!
Updating my blog’s SEO now ranks right up there with cleaning behind the fridge. Necessary. Honorable. Mildly traumatizing. 7865 posts to go through. The Head Peanut is NOT amused.
What started as a “quick refresh” turned into a full-blown excavation.
I opened a five-year-old (plus) post and found:
- Half the images missing.
- Links leading to businesses that now exist only in legend.
- A font choice clearly made during a caffeine-fueled identity crisis.
Welcome to the glamorous life.
Somewhere in the depths of my site lives The Ghost of PBnWhine Past. It floats through old posts, deleting photos like a Victorian librarian with a vendetta.
“Oh, you needed those step-by-step craft photos?”
Gone.
“That beautifully staged product review?”
Into the abyss.
Now the tutorials read like this:
Step 1: Do the thing
Step 2: [image missing]
Step 3: Just believe in yourself
Extremely helpful. Gold star content.
And the links? Nothing builds character like clicking a reference and landing on:
Error 404: This business has retired to Florida.
Apparently half the brands I worked with have closed, rebranded, or reemerged as something called “Crypto Spoon AI Wellness Collective.” Time is a fever dream.
So here I am, playing archaeologist with Wi-Fi. Replacing images. Fixing links. Adding keywords. Gently whispering to Google, “Notice me. I bring snacks.”
It’s not glamorous, but it makes the blog faster, cleaner, and easier to find. Which means more crafts, more reviews, more giveaways — and fewer digital tumbleweeds.

So if you catch me muttering at my laptop, swatting invisible ghosts with a broom made of metadata, don’t worry.
I’m not spiraling.
I’m optimizing.
Which, in blogger terms, means battling digital poltergeists, resurrecting broken links, and shamelessly courting search engines with fresh content.
Completely normal.
