Affies4Kids!! GIVEAWAY!!!!

So, you’re probably asking what are Affies4Kids. Only one of the greatest sites on the Internet. As parents and grandparents don’t we want the children in our lives to be confident and compassionate kids??  Kids with a positive thoughts about others and themselves!?!?  Of course we do. Affies4Kids is a program that is designed to teach young children the language of positive self talk through books, songs, videos, and activities.

Affies4Kids is a great site that is easy and fun to use. The Affie Team has written stories, songs and lesson plans that are designed to be used, 5 minutes a day for a week.  The stories cover subjects such as being dependable, kind, taking turns, being helpful, making good choices, and more.  Each Affie has five days worth of lessons that incorporate reading, listening, sharing thoughts, watching, and positive self affirmations.

Alice and I have been using Affies4Kids for the last couple of weeks with great success!!  I forgot how hard it is to teach a child ‘sharing,’ ‘being kind,’ and ‘listening’  Affies4Kids has a lesson plan for each of these topics and MANY more!! Teaching kids to share is a hard one. Affies4Kids has a wonderful story to explain ‘sharing’ In this story, Brother Cub and Sister Bear work hard collecting berries so their mom can make a delicious pie. After Sister spills her bucket of berries, Brother takes the initiative to share his. The problem is solved, and Mother Bear is so proud of her cubs.

I love that the stories are engaging, the illustrations are adorable and fun. The person reading the stories has such a soothing and engaging voice that Alice literally sits mesmerized. You should check out the stories pages and see what Alice and I love. 

Even the busiest of households can do this!!  This takes 5 minutes a day!! Start by reading your Parent Card that gives you activities that are easy QUICK and fun!! 

I really love the positive affirmations that are said looking in the mirror. That’s one even NaNa is learning!! 

I love that the activities are varied and play to the three modes of learning, visual, auditory and kinetic.   Alice and I give Affies4Kids 4 very enthusiastic and NICE thumbs way UP!!
