American History GO FISH! Giveaway!
Y’all know I’m a huge fan of games that TEACH!! How about a good ole game of Go Fish? How about if that Go Fish game was about American History?!?! I KNOW!! How brilliant is that!? You actually can play several different card games with this deck of cards. DH and I try and stump each other. Yeahhhhh, I don’t wanna play against him any more. The man remembers EVERYTHING!! I’m positive he can recite the Gettysburg Address and his junior high school locker combination. I, on the other hand, not so much!! I’m lucky if I remember all my children’s names by the end of the day.
These cards are a great refresher for me and fun effective learning tools for the kids! The cards are suggested for ages 7 and up.
There are 48 American History Cards. The cards have everything from famous people, landmarks, events and symbols from American History. 12 different categories. Each card has a large picture, under which are 3 HINTS. The bottom of the card, under the HINTS are 4 answers. The correct answer is highlighted.
For instance: How many hints do you need to answer this question? The answer is in the Giveaway Tools AND it’s worth points!
Hint # 1. Bitter
Hint # 2. Protest
Hint # 3. Party

I would also like the GEO Bingo game. What a great way to help kids (and adults) learn! I would love to win this so I could give to my friend. He has 4 young children AND is a teacher at the elementary school.

I learned that GeoToys offer Learning Guides on their site that can be downloaded, and will complement the toys and games they offer. I want to win this card game for my son – he is a history teacher.

I like the history teaching materials. The history geo puzzle looks like a lot of fun. The other puzzles look like fun too, for geography.

what a great giveaway–and an awesome site of great education toys(tools) I kind of got side tracked looking at all the wonderful card games and I found two items I really need to get for our home school kids, that I believe would help out a lot– one was the GEO Cards World– this is 5 games in one –now thats alot of playing /learning time–you can find it here–http://www.geotoystore.com/card-games/geo-cards-world-detail– now thats $14.00 , well thats less than 3 dollars a game– a bargain as far as I an concerned — the other is WorldWise USA Card Game at the same price– and that is what we will be studing this year– you can find that here—http://www.geotoystore.com/card-games/worldwise-usa-card-game-detail–that is like a mini vacation in a since as they learn the geography of each state and other important facts
