I love crafting. I love creating things. I LOVE to make a HUGE MESS with my craft work! You would think it was love, with the size of the mess I make! With my new craft mat from Ultra Pro most of my mess is contained to the mat!!  ‘Course, I have to say, this Ultra PRO Craft Mat is so pretty, I almost don’t want to use it! ALMOST!!

This is a large rust colored mat, a full 23¾” by 12½”. Not only is it large but it has a durable premium fabric surface and a rubber backing. This mat doesn’t move around when I use it. This mat is acid free and PVC free, so it’s safe for even the most important pictures and documents. The mat arrives in a clear tube, yet right out of the package this mat lays flat. The tube makes storing the mat easy! If you have a dedicated craft space you may never want to put this mat away, in that case, store documents, artwork, posters up to 15″ in length in the empty tube!

My next favorite part of the mat is the coloring, the mat has a bright gradient boarder that goes from gold to rust. Along the boarder is a ruler. I LOVE THE RULER!!! I’m always measuring things when I am working on my scrapbooks. This makes it SO MUCH easier!!

Last week, three year old Alice and I had a beach day where we collected seashells.  Today we painted our frame in beach blue, silver and green and then glued our seashells on. I am BEYOND thrilled that this Ultra Pro Craft Mat cleaned up with a wet wipe!!  All the paint, sand and glue GONE!!  Every craft we’ve thrown at this mat since it arrived and it still looks brand NEW!!

Not to mention the tube makes a GREAT pirate eye glass!!

    I collect Star Wars memorabilia, and I have some other movie and TV trading card sets, too, dating back to the ’70s and ’80s. I’d love to have a few thousand of the Pro-Fit Standard Size Deck Protectors to keep them all safe.
