Day 29 Photo-A-Day Challenge Before

I can’t think of a better way to close out Marchs Photo-A-Day challenge than to show you the before-during-after pictures of my craft room. So today’s prompt is BEFORE!

When we bought this house 2 years ago the room that I claimed for my craft room was supposed to be for my mom. A huge area that would have been a great living area of her own. It has its own bathroom and a bedroom too. The room has a walk out to a little patio. It would have been perfect. (except maybe the fact that the room is always cold!) She would have loved her little apartment! Then just before the move God decided he needed my Mom more than I did. Personally, I believe he was wrong but lets not tell the BIG GUY that!!

So, naturally I called dibs on the space for myself. I mean hellllllllloooooooo wouldn’t you have??! This space is HUGE!!!!!

This is the before picture. Concrete floors which we later found out (like a YEAR after we bought the house!) that there had been a busted pipe that flooded the house! We only found this out because our son Zachary found the video on YouTube! (Which has since been taken down. I should have downloaded it. Oh well!)

My craft-room was one huge empty room. Laundry closet behind the door (I say closet because the entire house has MASSIVE rooms and the laundry area? Is so tight the washer and dryer barely fit inside!)
