Hyundai Elantra Limited

2015 Hyundai Elantra
I know I say this a lot, but I truly love my job! This week has been awesome!! I’ve been driving around the Hyundai Elantra Limited. WOW what a sweet little car this is. First, silver so, ya know… SWEET!! I know, I know… that’s really not a reason to like a car. But, for me I will notice a silver car before I notice the model or style. So, I say again; Silver SWEET!

This is a sweet car. The ride is smooth. The gas mileage is AMAZING!! Are you sitting down?  38 miles per gallon AMAZING!! I drove everywhere for a FULL week and never emptied the tank. I’m in Southern California which means a lot of stop and go traffic. I like to refer to the i5 as a big ‘ole parking lot. I still had amazing gas mileage.

There are so many perks in the Hyundai Elantra Limited that I hope I don’t forget to tell you any of them! Let’s start with the keyless entry. As long as you have the key fob on your person, just hold the black button on the door handle. The car doors open and you can also lock the car!! I accidentally found a HUGE bonus, you can NOT lock your keys in the car. Which (NOT on purpose) I did try to do. The car won’t lock, it does beep annoyingly at you. LOVE that!!!  I truly love the fact that I can throw my key in my purse and never have to get it out again!! I didn’t. For a WEEK!! It was AWESOME!! I love whoever invented this feature!

Next feature is the drivers side mirror. There is a smaller magnified mirror in the upper left corner. I would have never imagined that a small mirror like that would make such a difference. This mirror means you don’t have a blind spot! AT ALL!!  SWEEEET!!

Next feature that I am thoroughly impressed with is the trunk space! WOW!! I could easily fit DH in there if I could convince him to get in! As it stands, the trunk will hold a trip to Costco and more!

145 Horsepower, 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine that gets up to an EPA-estimated 38 MPG on the highway* is standard on the Elantra.   The Elantra Sport has even more power with up to 173 horsepower. More to love about the Elantra Limited is the 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC® and Active ECO System. I used the Active ECO system and had excellent gas mileage.

A Few More Things I LOVE

Projector headlights with LED accents. I really like the look of the front headlights. The Elantra has 17-inch alloy wheels. LED tail lights too. Black chrome grille and chrome door handles too!

Y’all know I have to have a picture of the kid SOMEWHERE!!

Side mirrors with turn-signal indicators is another favorite feature.

This is a great CAR!!! More greatness?  The Elantra Limited is $22,510 with all the perks!!

Check back here tomorrow when I tell you about the inside of this sweet little car!!

WHINES

Only one! That is they made me give it back!!

Disclosure I received a complimentary week driving the Hyundai Elantra for the purpose of my review. (No, they didn’t let me keep it…. they NEVER let me keep these cars?? WHY??? I would drive it everyday. I would talk nice too it too) No other compensation was provided. The opinions are mine and 100% honest. I have not been influenced in any way.

I have a 2002 Elantra that’s been a great car. I was thrilled when I got it to have intermittent wipers and cruise control (20 years of my Toyota without those feature).
Today I would have loved the blind spot mirror. Luckily the window was open and I could hear the car there but couldn’t see it.

It is a sharp car, and so many good features. I assume it is front wheel drive. Good car to consider!! I wouldn’t have wanted to give it back!
