iRULU eXpro X1s 8 Inch Google Android Tablet Review
I was given the opportunity to review the iRULU eXpro X1s. This 8 Inch Google Android Tablet powered by 5.1 Lollipop operating system is pretty amazing. I was thoroughly impressed that this tablet was ready to go right out of the box!
First the look. Side by side to my iPad Mini you can’t tell the difference except that the iRULU is not as tall as the Mini. Other wise I have to turn them over to see which is which. The iRULU has the same white boarder as the Mini along with a silver back.
Set up was really, REALLY cool! (Yes, technology still amazes and intrigues me!) First, the tablet starts immediately. No lag time at ALL. During set up the iRULU asked if I wanted to sync with my phone and google account. I set the date, wifi settings and then in less than 5 minutes later my tablet was up and running and with all the apps and widgets that I am ALREADY familiar with! AMAZING!! My iPad was NOT as easy to set up as this tablet.
The iRULU has the Allwinner A64 1.3GHZ Quad Core; which means no buffering, no lag time. The screen is a IPS multi-touch screen which is very responsive to a stylus or just my finger. Oh the screen! With 1280 by 800 resolution you won’t be disappointed in the video quality. I also want to mention that the screen arrived with screen protector already in place.
Another amazing feature is the fact that the iRULU arrives with a case with integrated KEYBOARD!! I love the fact that the keyboard connects with a cord and doesn’t need charging on it’s own. The keyboard is a little hard to get use to because the shift bar is up high, but the keys are instantaneous, I can type as fast as I want and this little guy keeps up.
The tablet has both a front and read camera, however you do have to remove the tablet from the case to use the rear camera. The camera resolution is 0.3MP in front and 2.0 MP in the rear
This tablet has 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM but it is extendable to 32 GB which is a great perk. Added bonus is the 4200 mAh battery that will last for up to 5 hours of constant use. Or 2 movies for the Grandkids! Another great perk is that my tablet will wirelessly connect my Netflix to my television with the 4.0 Bluetooth.
The iRULU weighs in at 1.6 pounds so it’s easy to toss in my purse and go.
WHINES
Not a single whine from me! I am thoroughly impressed with this 8 Inch Google Android Tablet. AND under $100!? This is an amazing tablet. One that quickly charges, it’s as slim as the iPad Mini and as responsive as well. So many perks!

Quite honestly, about the only word I recognised was Lollipop!

I visited many websites except the audio feature for audio songs existing at this site is truly excellent.

Sounds great! I am usually an Apple girl, but I’m going to have to really consider Google next time I’m in the market.

Neat that it comes with a keyboard and ready to run.

I agree that arriving ready to go is a big plus! The keyboard is pretty impressive, too, on a tablet.

It’s great that it’s so easy to set up! Dad bought Mum a mini laptop thingy (see how into techy stuff I am!) that took forever to get going!
