Mrs. Cubbisons Edible Centerpiece Challenge!

I love a good challenge. This one is SO FUN!!! The challenge that Mrs. Cubbison’s issued was “Can you make an edible centerpiece?” Why… yes, YES I can!! Challenge accepted!!

Now you know I’m all about the Grandbabies!! I love to review things that center around them. SO why not make an edible centerpiece for Easter with Grandbabies in mind?!?!

The awesome people at Mrs. Cubbison’s sent a box with Mrs. Cubbison’s Stuffing and Croutons, an apron, and a kitchen towel. The design on the apron and towel got me to thinking. I should incorporate chicks and eggs!!

I have a pretty green serving dish, which I put stuffing inside. A quick trip to Michael’s Craft store and I bought chick candy containers, which I filled with Mrs. Cubbison’s stuffing. (3 for $1.99) Each chick is a single serving one per Grandkid!! I then formed a small handful of stuffing into an egg shape and browned in the oven for 15 minutes.
I added the cute little chicks ($.99cents at Michaels), and how CUTE did this turn out?? My kids might tell me I have too much time on my hands, but the Grandkids will think NaNa rocks!!

I also loved that when I removed the stuffing from the chick, the shape stayed, which will look adorable on the plate too. Not to mention that Mrs. Cubbison’s is THE BEST-tasting stuffing!! Why would you use anything else?!
