I have one of the coolest companies to tell you about today called nanoblock®. These are the coolest, SMALLEST, building block construction system I’ve ever seen. I’ve had every kind of building block known to a child! Seriously, my son had every kind of building block I could find. But, I have to say, he never had something this COOL!!! nanoblock® comes from The Ohio Art Company and they just started selling at TARGET!!! If you have a block builder in the house, you have to see these!! They are SO COOL!! I know I keep saying that, but it’s true. nanoblock®’s are like little puzzles. I built my first masterpiece, Germany’s Castle Neuschwanstein. I did fairly good, when it was all done I noticed a couple of misplaced nanoblock®’s.  There are over 550 teeny tiny building blocks. My 3D Neuchwanstein Castle looks really awesome!  When the castle was done it was all of 3″ x 3″ x 3″.
nanoblock® has tons of different items to build, pianos, castles, animals, and even Hello Kitty! Each kit is marked with the level of difficulty 1 to 5. With 5 being the hardest. These take patience to create. But it’s FUN! Relaxing and CHALLENGING all at the same time! So, I didn’t get all the pieces correct, but I’m still pretty proud.  I’m sure that when DH is done it will be perfect for the knick knack shelf.

nanoblock®’s are not designed for children under age 8. You’ll want to be sure to watch kids under 3 years old, these do present choking hazards!

Next up was the little white Terrier dog. DH put this one together in no time. This Terrier is SO CUTE!!! This little guy is a level 2 in difficulty.

How the nanoblock® Build It Your Way Competition works:

Entry Phase: From February 16, 2014 to September 1, 2014, parents/applicants can upload a photo of their original nanoblock® creation in one of two categories, under 500 pieces and over 500 pieces. There is no limit to the number of submissions per applicant. Submissions are accepted at www.YourNanoblockCreations.com.
Judging Phase: All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges consisting of a mixture of toy industry opinion leaders and Ohio Art representatives. The top five finalists will be selected and notified on or around September 15, 2014.
Winner Phase: One grand prize-winner will receive a $4,000 travel voucher. A first and second prize winner will be selected in each category (under 500 pieces and over 500 pieces). Two first prize winners will receive an iPod nano and nanoblock® sets (one set per month of their choice) for a year. Two second prize winners will receive nanoblock® sets (one set per month of their choice) for a year. Winners will be announced, on or around, September 21, 2014 and featured on The Ohio Art website and the official nanoblock® Facebook and Twitter pages.
