Pumpkin Carvings!

I’m feeling very lazy tonight, so I thought I would share some pumpkin carvings. These pumpkins were done by an Artist named Ray Villafane who began carving pumpkins on a lark for his art students in a small rural school district in Michigan. The hobby changed his life as he gained a viral following online and unlocked his genuine love of sculpting. Here are images of pumpkin carvings Villafane created over the past years.

I can barely carve 2 triangles and anything that resembles a toothy grin. What about you? Are you a pumpkin carver?

And I cheat when it comes to carving pumpkins. I made a pottery jack-o-lantern a couple of years ago, I just add a couple of tea lights & that’s Halloween sorted!
