Spa Home Facial Steamer Sauna Review
I have a wonderful Spa Home Facial Steamer Sauna to tell you about today. I also want to give you a few pointers so that you get all the benefits of a great facial steam.
Start with a thoroughly cleansed face. That’s the most important thing!
Add water using the enclosed plastic cup and start the facial steamer. Add a couple drops of essential oils to help you relax and improve your skin. There is a single bottle of a Frankincense and Myrrh combination; that arrives with your steamer that is AWESOME!! Check out the benefits!
For Your Skin & Hair – Frankincense has anti-aging properties, making it a nice addition to lotions and skin creams. It is an astringent than can strengthen the roots of your hair while toning and lifting skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
For Stress & Anxiety – As an oil, it can act as a sedative, promoting feelings of peace and relaxation.
If you have acne problems use tea tree oil and for colds and a blocked nose use eucalyptus oil. Be sure to keep your eyes closed when you are steaming, especially when adding oils to the water.
You can also intensify the benefits of your facial steamer by adding a few drops of vegetable oils to the water. Pick the oil according to your skin type or condition. If your skin is oily use peppermint, sesame or grape seed oils. All of these oils can help to regulate the production of oil. If you have dry or extra dry skin using jojoba, kernel, apricot or extra virgin olive oils are awesome!! You’ll feel a difference after your first steam. If you have sensitive skin be sure to use chamomile oil. For normal skin try using almond oil. My favorite; for mature skin use Argan or apricot kernel oil. Tea Tree oil is the best for acne prone skin.
Facial saunas work so well for improving your skin’s appearance in many ways. My favorite benefits of a steam facial are:
- Improves overall skin’s complexion!! A great steam will get rid of toxins and boost blood circulation. Think rosy glow!
- This will give your skin a deep cleanse and help to eliminate blackheads and whiteheads.
- Your skin will appear fresher, healthier, hydrated and rejuvenated.
- A steam helps you de-stress!
After my steam facial I pat my skin dry and immediately add a facial mask. I love using a clay masks. You can use one for acne, a moisturizing mask whichever you prefer.
After your mask has set for 15 minutes remove with cool water. Apply toner and moisturizer. By this time I’m ready for bed! I’m relaxed and my skin feels AMAZING!!

I have a home facial spa & used to use it regularly but I’m afraid it now gathers dust in the bottom of my wardrobe. This has got me motivated to dig it out and start using it again, especially for head colds & sinusitis.

Oh, that sounds like it would feel good! I did not know that about frankincense. I think I’ll try that for my hair!

I must have said wow to myself 5 times reading this! I’d love to add an essential oil like lemon or something citrusy – and the thought you can do a mask is really cool! Those oils sound perfect for something like this!

I’ve always wanted one of these! It can open my pores and get out all the gunk. Sometimes I just lean over a pot of steaming water, but that’s a recipe for disaster. Anyway, I know it’s good to steam – and then follow with ice cubes to close the pores, like Joan Crawford in the beginning of “Mommie Dearest”. NO MORE WIRE HANGERS! EVER!
