Superhero Toys for Boys this Christmas
Is there anything cooler than superheroes? If you have a little boy in your life, the answer to that question is likely to be no! Most boys go through a phase of loving superheroes, from DC to Marvel and everything in between, having some sort of super power is every little boy’s dream.
While you may have already had some ideas for Christmas, spare a thought for the wide range of superhero-related toys on the market that your little lad would love. He may have already written to Santa about something Batman related, or he could have dropped enormous hints as adverts have popped up on the TV. If there’s one thing that makes Christmas Day special, it’s seeing their little faces light up with glee at the presents that they have been treated to, and if superheroes are what your son loves, here are some fab ideas to help get your inspiration flowing!
The Imaginext Batcave
The Batcave is a fabulous addition to any little boy’s Santa sack. Suitable for pre-schoolers right up to 8 year olds, if they love Batman they will adore this. While this particular set comes with two figures – Batman and Robin – and a Batcycle, you could invest in some of the other DC Batman toys and vehicles for a full scale attack on Gotham City!
Superhero Costumes
You can find these for extremely affordable prices nowadays, ranging from the Caped Crusader to the Incredible Hulk. Home in on your little one’s favourite character and kit him out with his own dress up so that he can pretend to be the real thing!
Perhaps a Spiderman mask as a stocking filler, or any superhero mask for that matter! He can pretend to use his Spidey Sense, shoot his webs across the room and imagine hopping from one building to the next to save someone in need.
Action Figures
A staple addition to any toy box, action figures are long-lasting toys that will be a big hit with your little boy, even as he grows.
Superhero Bike
There are plenty of superhero bikes available on the market these days, from Spiderman to Iron Man, he can show off his new wheels as he speeds off into the distance leaving a trail of smoke behind him.
Comics
There’s nothing better than a traditional comic to get him closer to the action. Not only does it encourage reading and quiet time, but a good superhero comic will get his imagination whirring into hyper-mode! Superhero movies make a great stocking filler too – if he hasn’t seen them all already that is! And if that is the case, how about a festive treat to go see the new Thor movie at the cinema?
