I am pretty sure that most toddlers have gone through the lovable, big purple dinosaur, Barney stage. Having shows available for 3-year-old Alice to watch is important to me. I want shows that are first, age-appropriate! I don’t want to stress that she is learning some bad habits!! (Not on this NaNa’s watch anyway!) Barney videos are full of imagination and fun. Barney teaches everything from good manners to sharing, exercising, and just having FUN!! There is even a chapter in this new DVD, A SUPER-DEE-DUPER DAY, on how to approach a shy child. I love that!! Three-year-old Alice is shy around new kids, too. I loved that she was relating to the little girl. I am thrilled that Barney teaches kids to use their imagination.
