Last week we were on our annual camping trip along the central coast in Morro Bay California and I had the opportunity to try out my new Leader accessories, Women’s Wetsuit 2.5 mm Black/Pink Fullsuit Jumpsuit Wetsuit. I’m spoiled because I live in sunny southern California and take for granted that the entire length of California is NOT warm and sunny. Last year I was freezing paddling along the bay checking out otters and harbor seals. This year was a game-changer. Not only do I like the colors of the suit, black with bright pink trim but I love the thickness of the suit. Yes, I like the bright pink for its color, but also for the safety aspect. I want to make sure I am visible if something happens and NOT mistaken for seal (we have a similar body shape – which is why I opted to skip photos of myself in the suit). The thickness is ideal for cold-weather paddling, surfing and other water activities. My favorite aspects of the suit are the wind-resistant smooth skin on the chest.
