The Love Dare For Parents Review and GIVEAWAY!!

I’ve been truly blessed to review a book called “The Love Dare for Parents” by The Kendrick Brothers. They are the film makers of “Fly Wheel” and “Fireproof” just to name a couple. They are responsible for the wonderful book “The Love Dare” which has sold over 5 million copies!!  The Love Dare helps marriages worldwide.  
This new book in my opinion will outsell the original!!  How could it not!?! (Psalm 127:3) “Children are a gift from the Lord” As parents we have to love our kids and bring out the very best in them!!

This wonderful book is written in a way that is easy to follow and a joy to read!!  Starting with Day 1 “Love Blooms”  Every child is born with a lifelong thirst for love! Isn’t that the truth!??!!!  There are questions for you in each chapter. For instance in chapter 1 “How much love do my children sense from me each day”

At the end of each chapter is your dare. The dares are easy. They are powerful. For chapter one the dare is simply to reach out to your child, on the phone, in person…… however you can connect and tell them simply “I LOVE YOU!!”

At the end of each chapter there are empty pages for your notes. For me this will be a book I hand down to my grandkids. First, what an amazing book to give. Second, notes written in NaNa’s handwritting of what I was thinking and feeling.

Each chapter has a key verse of Scripture, a biblical principle about love that applies to parenting.

“Day 2: Love is Patient” or “Day 40: Love Leaves a Legacy”. Day two, is the day to be patient, a simple suggestion is to write “Love is Patient” on an index card and tape it to the refrigerator or a mirror and remember to be patient with one’s children during the day. 

The Love Dare for Parents is 225 pages of blessings!!  Written by ministers, filmmakers and PARENTS themselves, so this isn’t a boring book! It’s engaging, helpful book designed to make us better people, better PARENTS!!  Truthfully, isn’t that what we all strive for??
