The Swan Princess: Princess Tomorrow, Pirate Today DVD Giveaway
The Swan Princess: Princess Tomorrow, Pirate Today
Sony Home Entertainment just released this movie on September 6, 2016.
I have to admit that this movie hits home a hundred fold!! Five-year-old Alice is Princess and Pirate OBSESSED! Seriously, I’ve seen every Princess movie released. I can pretty much recite each movie word for word. I know what color dress goes with which princess. Yes, we have every Princess dress available. Then there are the pirates…. I’ve watched every episode of those Neverland Pirates at least 100 times each. Of course we have all the pirate outfits too, complete with the eye patch. So Princess Tomorrow, Pirate Today had Alice’s attention through the entire movie. Twice. The DVD only arrived yesterday!!
I have to give a shout out here for the inventor of the DVD player in cars. Whoever you are I adore you! Greatest INVENTION ever! E-V-E-R! I had tons of errand to do today after Alice got out of Kindergarten (BTW it’s day #5 for those of you that are following the saga of Kindergarten meltdown 2016! Still a little shaky in the morning but after school is all smiles. When I asked how today went Alice’s answer was “OH NON, it was so long and so busy I can’t even talk about it right now!!”) Telling Alice that we were going to run errands after the ever so long and sooo busy morning went over like a lead balloon. Her mood lifted slightly when I handed her the case for Princess Tomorrow, Pirate Today. Once the movie started she was completely absorbed in the movie. It was a very peaceful car ride!! As soon as we arrived home we sat and watched the movie together start to finish. I have to say, it’s very cute. There are parts of the movie that are a take on Chef Ramsay, I was dying! So funny!! Alice was either edging closer to the tv or up and dancing.
In the brand new original animated film, Princess Alise is training to be the perfect royal but in her heart all she wants to do is sail the seven seas as a swashbuckling pirate! After setting sail, Princess Alise is shipwrecked and washes ashore on an island where she meets Lucas, a young boy who has been living there by herself. They have to work together to survive and get back to civilization!
What about you? Are you a Princess or a Pirate!? Take the quiz to find out.

I simply adore Alice’s little button nose! How she’s changed in just 4 short years.

The quiz says I’m a Princess – I’m pretty much OK with that – my granddaughter loves princesses!

The quiz put me as a Princess.

Sorry, my computer flinched and didn’t finish my answer.
The quiz put me as a princess, which is good because I’m not a good swimmer and a Pirate may not be the best for me.
Jennifer
I took the quiz and I am fit to be a Princess! Although the pirate adventures would be fun too.
Edye

Definitely confirmed that I am a pirate, but I already knew that!

There was a time, about 7 years ago, when I saw every Princess show/movie around because of my niece. She would’ve loved this back then.
Pamela
I took the quiz and got “princess,” pirate sounds more adventurous though!

I am a Pirate! Hmm! Well, I was always a bit of a tomboy, I suppose!

I’m sure many kids can relate to the theme of this movie!! Have the best of both! More fun to be a pirate, but oh those pretty dresses are fun, too!
