Weirder than Marshmallows Book review and Giveaway
I was given the opportunity to review the book “Weirder than Marshmallows” by Dan Fogg. This book had me laughing outloud! I’m a huge fan of sarcasm and Dan’s writing style 100% fits the bill!!It even had Eli my 18 month old grandson laughing… Nonnie can make any book sound like Dr. Seuss! When I laughed, Eli would laugh and clap. Course… you really can’t judge any book by Eli’s laughing… he thought the electric bill was hilarious!I was in love as soon as I read the introduction of Weirder than Marshmallows: “Ignorance, lack of common sense, and downright inhuman stupidity run rampant in this country and around the world. I watch people, and I hear stories, and they beg, beg, beg to be mocked and ridiculed”.I applaud Dan Fogg’s mom Deborah Carney, for compiling this truly enjoyable book and getting it published after Dan passed away. Dash Cam Tsunami footage! WOW!!!
Yu Muroga was doing his job making deliveries when the 11 March 2011 earthquake hit in Japan. Unaware, like many people in the area, of how far inland the Tsunami would travel, he continued to drive and do his job. The HD camera mounted on his dashboard captured not only the earthquake, but also the moment he and several other drivers were suddenly engulfed in the Tsunami. He escaped from the vehicle seconds before it was crushed by other debris and sunk underwater. His car and the camera have only recently been recovered by the police. The camera was heavily damaged but a video expert was able to retrieve this footage. I’m giving some of my older posts a little SEO spa day. Mixbook Review
If you are a regular reader you know how much I love Mixbook!! I love that I can add stickers and sayings to my photobooks. I love the freedom that Mixbook gives you to truly design your pages the way YOU want them to look. So when I was given the opportunity to review Mixbook’s Holiday Note Cards I was GIDDY!! So I immediately decided that I would dress up a willing model (I say willing because she is only 3.5 months old and I’m wayyy bigger than she is!! I CAN make her do what I want!!) So together we did Mixbook Halloween Cards. I have to say Mixbook has truly thought of everything! There are ‘stickers’ of spider webs, spiders, pumpkins, witches hats and even a mustache!
