How to Encourage Your Kids to Learn to Drive
When you are a parent of a teen who is learning to drive, encouraging them to practice and get good enough to pass their test first time can be tricky, especially if they are a nervous driver or are finding it hard to grasp things such as maneuvers that aide in avoiding car accidents. When your teen is learning to drive, encouraging them to pass is a good way to help make sure that you save money when it comes to their driving tuition and help them to get out on the road in their own car as soon as possible. Here are some of the best ways in which you can encourage your teenagers to learn to drive. Free Driving Theory Practice For many kids who are more hands-on when it comes to learning new things, the driving theory test can really knock their confidence. If your teen is learning to drive and is having a hard time understanding the questions in the theory test or passing their theory test at all, getting them some extra learning materials and encouraging them to practice and revise can be one of the best ways to help them get the pass mark that…

Freebies For One And For All. Behind The Scenes Of A Giveaway!
Everybody loves a giveaway. It’s the truth. Human beings have a certain kind of wiring that makes us light up at the thought of receiving something for free. Even when the item we receive for free may cost very little were we to buy it (think, a free donut with your coffee). Why is it that people always fall for the marketing trick of buy-one-get-one-free? Most of the time, we end up buying a product we don’t even need, just because the idea of receiving something for free is so enticing. Social Media If we look at Facebook, the world’s leading online social media platform, a common marketing trick companies use these days is the “like our page, share this post and stand a chance to win a free <insert product or service here>”. The number of teenagers or older people who like and share a baby shoes page when they don’t even have babies, in the hope that they will win this giveaway, astounds us. But the feeling is real. And we get it. I want to WIN! By definition, the word excitement means that our hearts begin to flutter and our brains become responsive to stimuli – often…

Brick Or Treat LEGOLAND Style!
Y’all know I’m a HUGE LEGOLAND California fan. Add to that a huge Halloween fan well, where else would I spend a Friday night in October?! Of COURSE Brick-or-Treat Party Nights!! LEGOLAND presents it’s annual Halloween celebration; Brick-or-Treat!! Each Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the month of October. The park transforms into a not-too-scary Halloween celebration. BRICK-OR-Treat requires a special ticket, once inside the turn styles you grab a special wrist band. This year there was an organized line to pick up your wristband. The line went quickly!! The wristband is what says you can stay and party until the 9:00 closing. There are “Brick or Treat” stations located throughout the LEGOLAND. Each of the large maps of the park have “Candy Corn” stickers to point you in the right direction. I wish there more effective ways to point to candy stations; maybe park employees with large “Follow ME To Candy” signs? It is confusing even for someone who has been to LEGOLAND as many times as I have. The park is dark for Brick-or-Treat so I got turned around easily. Add on top of that; the park is crowded!! We were able to hit 7 candy…
