• The Non’s Killer Beans

    Killer beans soup

This is called multi-tasking. Amber, my son Zachary’s girlfriend wanted another of his favorite recipes The Non’s Killer Beans.  I would write it out here too. How smart am I?! Okay, fine ………. it’s just easier to type on the laptop than typing it all out on my phone. So, HECK, lets just make a post our of it. Truly!!!! This is a REALLY good recipe especially when it’s cold outside.  I promise it sounds weird but it works!!  It’s SUPER easy to make.  Tastes even better day two!  It’s easy to double or quadruple. ADDED bonus is it can be done in the insta-pot or the crock-pot OR stove top pot. Everything is done in one pot.  I personally use my insta-pot YES, it has a vinyl saying on it. (trust me if it sits still long enough in my house it GET’s VINYL!!) Non’s Killer Beans and now YOUR Killer Beans This recipe is for 4 people. Easily doubles. ½ pound ground beef½ pound bacon Brown both together.  Drain. I do this in the insta-pot because there is no mess and it’s all in one pot. 1 can pork and beans 15 oz1 can red kidney beans 15…

  • Trail Cam Friday

Trail Cam picture from Sandpoint Idaho

As you know we have gotten a LOT of snow. Waist high on me! Taller than Bear! It’s stunning but it’s COLD!! The trail cam captured some great action shots, like falling snow. Starting with my two favorite shots.  One when the tree dropped all the snow. Second when the smaller deer tells the other “LOOK over there!! It’s ELVIS!!” Last week, I accidentally reset the calendar. So these pictures started on the 9th and stopped on the 15th. Technology when it’s cold outside is NOT my friend. These next few are from a second trail cam Okay trudging back to the trail cam. Hopefully, not to be dumped on with snow… mostly because there is no stick in the camera and it would be a wasted funny picture! Back, safe and sound. But it is gorgeous outside right now.

Changing old brown fences into bright greens, or purples or blacks if you are feeling bold, can really change the look of your garden and won’t cost more than the paint a day’s work.  You could reshape the lawns, add new beds, cut down trees or add new pathways. It might just be that some of these things need…
